Reviews
Our guide scarlet for our cherry blossom boat ride was nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped aboard, everything felt serene and thoughtfully arranged. As we glided along the water, we were surrounded by rows of delicate cherry blossoms in full bloom, their petals drifting gently like pink snow. The atmosphere was peaceful yet vibrant, making it the perfect way to experience the beauty of the season. The staff was warm and attentive, ensuring everyone felt comfortable while sharing interesting insights about the blossoms and the area. Timing was perfect, allowing us to enjoy the soft glow of the blossoms at their peak. It was a truly unforgettable experience—romantic, relaxing, and visually stunning. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy cherry blossom season in a unique and memorable way.
I joined a half-day tour in the morning on March 30. Although the cherry blossoms were only half-open, I was able to take beautiful photos both on the boat and along the coast. I would also like to give a thumbs up to our tour guide Mimi that day. She gave a good first impression, full of smiles and energy. There was a couple of Western tourists in our group. Mimi's English was very good and she did not ignore them by only greeting the majority of guests who could understand Mandarin. When a group of 20 people walked on the street, Mimi would patiently repeat the explanation to the group members in front, middle and back. She was very thoughtful and I really have to give her a thumbs up! 👍
Brother Yunjiang is not bad. The driving distance is not too far, about an hour, and all attractions are nearby. It is very convenient and there is plenty of time. It is recommended for those who want to take pictures first. Kaiseki cuisine is also pretty good. The food is more delicious than expected, and the food is very delicate. If you have enough budget, you can try it!
The highlight of the tour was watching the cherry blossoms in two different ways; walking along the waterways and from the Jikkokubune boat (a once in a lifetime experience). The tour was organized to allow guests the freedom to see the sights in the Fushimi. Because we started early it wasn’t as crowded and being a half-day tour allowed all of us to do other things. We had an intimate group (ten people that represented so many places in the world), that continued on with a mini-Kaiseki meal. The restuarant staff provided friendly service, a very delicious and so filling. we chose to tour the Gekkaikan Okura Sake Museum. it was one additional specialty in Kyoto. Doomo Arigatoo for w wonderful day🌸
I participated in today's cherry blossom viewing event on the Fushimi Jikkokubune boat. I joined because I couldn't get a reservation online beforehand, so I had to book the activity through the Klook platform. However, the entire event went smoothly, and the spectacular cherry blossoms along the way were unforgettable. I was the first guest to check in, and luckily, my seat was in the front row, allowing me to enjoy an unobstructed view of the scenery on both banks. It was a truly memorable trip.
The tour guide Mimi was very responsible and waited at the meeting point very early. The explanation along the way was very vivid and detailed, and the route planning was also very reasonable. The dining arrangement was even more thoughtful. She waited until all our meals were ready before leaving to eat by ourselves. It was very hard! Five-star praise! I will take this route again next year, and I will recommend friends to book this route in the future.
The arrangement of the ten-stone boat cruise for this event was very good because the travel company and tour guide had already arranged a boat in advance, so our group did not have to wait in a long queue. You can spend more time walking around and taking photos. The Kaiseki cuisine for lunch was delicious. If you have time in the afternoon, you can decide to go to Biandu. The Inari Shrine itinerary is also ok, but because there are too many tourists, it doesn’t feel good. You can consider other itineraries.
The attitude of the tour guide and driver was very good. Although the third floor of Yu was closed on Tuesday, the replacement sushi restaurant was also very delicious. It is well worth a visit during the cherry blossom season.
The activity arrangement is very good, the ten-stone boat is very beautiful, and the cherry blossom tunnel is beautiful. If you don't make a reservation with a travel agency, you will have to queue up on the spot for a long time. Kaiseki is a century-old restaurant with a good environment and taste. Inari Shrine has 10 people.
This one-day tour is more expensive, but worth it. It only costs 1,500 yen per person to buy Ten Stone Boats on site, but there are many people queuing up, and it is estimated that it will take several hours. But if you join this group, it will be arranged early in the morning, so you don’t have to queue.
Good to know
The full bloom date of cherry blossoms may vary due to local climate conditions. Please consider this before making a reservation. Thank you for your understanding.
