Mari was an absolutely amazing guide! and if we had done it on our own, the spots Mari took us to would of been very difficult to find. Mari was very personable and easy to talk to about her experiences. she was very knowledge which was amazing to learn about. and she helped us incredibly with food we could eat with our dietary requirements!! I really advise you to book yourself on this tour!
I had a fantastic day out with Yuki and Ayu all by myself. No one else had booked for that day so I was most fortunate to have two tour guides with me for the afternoon. The ladies were fantastic and explained everything so well to me and were able to answer all my questions. I was fortunate enough to have Yuki reach out to me the following day asking if had a chance to test out my new found sake knowledge, which I had and I think she was happy to know that I had learnt from them. Thanks for a great day Yuki and Ayu, Kanpai
I had an enjoyable time with Rika, my guide that day, she was professional, friendly and cool in personality… based on the tour itself, it was the last part for the 18 types of sake tasting…..many different types of sake from different sake brewery which was the highlights of the day. though I couldn’t Finnish them all.. but so cool to try so many types of sake at a time. Rika even showed me the shop which I could purchase them… so I can revisit the shop next time..
First sake tasting experience and it is wonderful. manage to taste and found the type of sake I like. The guide is quite new but tried her best to tell us the sake history.
Rika is very nice and keen to introduce a lot of sake knowledge. very nice tour in the afternoon
The tour guide was very friendly. We visited two wineries and one bar, and they also introduced some local architectural features and history. Although the second winery felt a bit like a shopping trip, overall it was good! The activity provided a total of 3+19 cups of sake, which definitely got us tipsy. 😂
Matt was the guide for the trip. He was very knowledgeable about the history of sake in Kyoto and did a great job introducing us to the various sake blends and helped with sake recommendation and purchasing. The visit included a trip to the "sake" shrine, the Geigekkan museum and sake tasting. New friends were made over several drinks and all had a great time.
Our guide, Chihiro, and this experience was amazing! We ended up having a private tour, which was incredible. Chihiro spoke great English and was a great time at the tasting. We were also VERY pleasantly surprised with the quality of food that we ordered alongside the tasting experience.
Jimmy did a fantastic job teaching us about sake and showing us around area. Very personable and a great person to spend time with. Definitley learned a lot about sake creating, tasting and how it plays a part in Japanese culture. We arrived late and the trip coordinator contacted me to make sure we still planned to attend. We appreciate Jimmy waiting and the Magical Trip’s help with coordinating. Thank you for a great experience!
We got Yuko ( I hope I'm spelling it correctly) She was amazing and I dream I could meet another person like her. It was the highlight of our trip. We spent the entire tour just having the time of our life. learning so much about the local culture. and just overall learning the personal experiences of Japan versus America. she was even nice enough to stay past the tour time to just talk to us and hate hang out. it was honestly when the best experiences I've ever had in my life.
