Transportasyon sa Shizuoka Prefecture

Ang JR PASS na may 72-oras at 8% diskwento ay talagang sulit. Ang JR PASS ay isang electronic voucher, kaya inirerekomenda na ipagpalit na ito sa pisikal na tiket sa airport pa lang, kung hindi ay kailangan mo pang pumunta sa Tokyo Station para ipagpalit. Ngayon, natuto na rin akong gamitin ang PASS para direktang mag-book ng gustong tren at upuan sa makina, napakadali talaga. Sa 72-oras na subway, sinubukan kong gumamit ng QR code para sa pagpasok at paglabas ng istasyon, kaya hindi na ako natatakot na mawala o masira ang pisikal na tiket. Sa pangkalahatan, napakaganda ng aking karanasan sa pagkakataong ito.

Purchasing a voucher on Klook one day in advance and presenting the QR code for redemption was very convenient. The location was easy to find, and the staff were attentive. Lockers were available for rent to store personal belongings for the day, allowing for a relaxed experience. Safety measures were excellent, ensuring peace of mind while enjoying the activities. It was a memorable and fun experience, highly recommended.

Mr Shindou is very kind & helpful. Reccomended and drove us to lots of places within the timeframe despite traffic congestion along the way. He was punctual during pick up & overall was a safe driver. Highly recommend him to anyone who wish to take this service up, it’s worth the extra money for convenience & it’s less hassle.

We just ran into a typhoon in Japan that was heading directly for the Izu Peninsula. I only managed to use two and a half days of my rail pass before rushing back to Tokyo by JR on the afternoon of the third day. Fortunately, the JR lines really were suspended the next day, and the airport canceled over three hundred flights; the weather changed drastically. On the first day of the trip, I issued my tickets at the Shinkansen counter inside the Atami JR Station—please note that this can only be done inside a JR station. On the first day, I visited local attractions around Suruga Bay in Shizuoka Prefecture, took a ferry to Toi Port (which took about 90 minutes), then took a bus to Shuzenji Station, and finally transferred to the Izu-Hakone Railway to Mishima. On the second day, I went to the Gotemba Outlets and took the JR to Numazu for dinner in the evening. On the third day, I took a Fujikyu bus to Oshino Hakkai. The rain made the water muddy, but walking in the light rain at the foot of Mount Fuji offered fresh air and a cool feeling. I had previously bought this pass to go to Lake Kawaguchi, so I did not plan to go there again this time. Overall, this three-day pass is a fantastic value.

Ang 2-araw na bus ticket ay kailangan bilhin para sa paglilibot sa mga lugar ng interes sa Ito. Sulit ito dahil ang isang one-way trip mula Mount Omuro papuntang Ito Station ay nagkakahalaga na ng 1000 yen. Maraming beses kaming sumakay mula sa isang lugar patungo sa isa pa. Kailangan tandaan ang iskedyul at oras ng bus dahil ang pagitan ng isang bus sa susunod ay humigit-kumulang 1 oras. Kung ma-miss mo ito, kailangan mong maghintay para sa susunod.

Ang aming driver na si Ginoong 神藤志良 ay napakabait at maunawaing driver, nasiyahan kami sa pakikipag-usap sa kanya sa daan, at napaka-atento niya sa aming mga pangangailangan. Lubos na inirerekomenda kung may kasama kayong maliliit na bata dahil ito ay isang napakasaya at kaaya-ayang karanasan. Nagrekomenda siya sa amin ng magagandang lugar at pati na rin ng magandang kainan para sa tanghalian dahil ito ang aming unang beses sa Japan. Maraming salamat!

It's true that this pass has some ambiguities. If you're staying near Shizuoka Station and want to go to Miho no Matsubara, there's no direct bus, so you have to go to Shimizu Station. From there, you'll need to take another bus. However, getting to Shimizu Station by train from Shizuoka Station is much cheaper and faster, saving you time. When going from Miho no Matsubara to Kunozan Toshogu, you also can't go directly. You'll need to go to Shimizu Station or get off before it and transfer to a bus for Kunozan Toshogu at Shimizu Station. Similarly, returning from Kunozan Toshogu to Shizuoka Station isn't direct either; you'll have to go to Oya and transfer to another bus. Shizuoka is a place where you might have the inconvenience of taking six different buses just to visit and return from two attractions. Although I took the buses because the fares aren't cheap, I'm really not satisfied with Shizuoka's bus routes.
