Taupo

I've visited almost all the attractions around Rotorua, such as Waiotapu Thermal Wonderland, Blue Spring, Huka Falls, and Lake Taupo. What left the deepest impression were Blue Spring and Huka Falls, with their incredibly pristine water and air quality. I really loved these two spots.

Suntem un cuplu aflat în luna de miere care a participat la turul din 16-17 martie. Am plecat la ora exactă 5:50 dimineața, de la punctul de preluare de lângă hotel. Ghidul nostru, „Michael”, a fost extrem de amabil cu noi, deși engleza noastră era stângace, a condus excelent și a gestionat perfect întregul itinerar. Este plin de umor și cunoaște foarte bine istoria Noii Zeelande și a maorilor, oferind explicații excelente. Itinerarul a fost, de asemenea, foarte bun. Am vizitat peșterile Waitomo, Hobbiton, Waiotapu, cascadele Huka și Grădinile Hamilton ca puncte principale. Pe lângă acestea, Michael ne-a prezentat și ne-a permis să vizităm locuri interesante pe parcurs, cum ar fi Lacul Rotorua, Podul Suspendat Arapuni și un punct de observație de unde se puteau vedea cascadele Huka de sus. Am fost foarte mulțumiți de acest tur, deoarece am putut vizita toate locurile pe care le planificasem din Coreea. O mică sugestie legată de traseu ar fi că am petrecut aproximativ 20 de minute la cascadele Huka, dar având în vedere peisajul magnific, ar fi bine să se aloce mai mult timp acolo (este bine să știți dinainte că timpul de călătorie este lung). Am aflat hotelul în care vom sta în ziua respectivă. Am fost cazați la Ibis, dar am primit un upgrade (?) la Novotel. Locația era chiar lângă „Eat Street”, așa că am putut lua cina în apropiere. Michael ne-a recomandat Polynesian Spa, pe care l-am vizitat după cină și, din fericire, am putut rezerva și utiliza serviciile pe loc. Am reușit să ne relaxăm după o călătorie obositoare. Recomandăm acest tur tuturor celor care se gândesc să-l facă și îi mulțumim sincer lui Michael pentru că ne-a făcut călătoria în Auckland atât de frumoasă!

We had an amazing tour experience with Trent! From the moment we met him, he made us feel welcome with his warmth, hospitality, and genuine kindness. The Huka Falls boat ride, the friendly explanations from the guides, and the activity itself were truly thrilling and highly satisfying! If I were to rate just the tour itself, it was such an enjoyable experience that it easily deserves 5 stars. However, there was a significant issue with the photo and video package we purchased additionally on-site. When we checked it at home, the video was of completely different people, not our group, and about half of the photos were mixed with pictures of strangers. It was very disconcerting to find someone else's data when we intended to preserve our precious memories. Fortunately, before leaving for our trip, I revisited the site and spoke with a staff member who acknowledged the mistake and promised a full refund. However, despite receiving confirmation last Thursday that a refund of 45.9 New Zealand Dollars ($45.9 NZD) would be processed, several days have passed, and the refund has not yet been completed, leaving a slightly unresolved feeling. (There might be a delay due to credit card processing, but the process seems a bit slow.) I highly recommend the boat tour itself, but for those purchasing photos or videos on-site, I strongly advise checking immediately to ensure the files are correct. If the refund process is completed smoothly, it would be an absolutely perfect tour.

It was the best idea to end a day in Taupo. The guides and the ones on the boat were all accommodating, friendly, and very informative. I liked how clear the boat's speakers are, allowing you to hear the commentary or the guide anywhere.

Good location and excellent view however during winter time it's so cold because the heater is only in the main bedroom

Nice stay, lovely and clean, comfortable bed. We also enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant, which was very nice. Would definitely stay again.

I spent 10 days traveling independently in New Zealand, and the most expensive night's accommodation initially seemed not worth it, but I was completely wrong! I came to Lake Taupo to see the lake views, but after driving around, I found that the best view was actually from the small balcony outside my room. I sat there all afternoon and felt incredibly relaxed. The dinner and breakfast here were also delicious. If you happen to stay until Sunday morning, there's even a limited-time small market you can explore! I can only say we were quite lucky.

An absolutely perfect experience! It's great for families to enjoy a boat ride and admire the scenery 🌊 The weather in late March was fantastic! The blue skies and white clouds made for beautiful photos! The boat offered complimentary coffee and tea, and alcoholic beverages were available for purchase 🍺🥂 The boat tour lasted an hour and a half. We saw carvings on the rock walls, and the crew even demonstrated trout fishing (though our group didn't catch any fish). There were fish dishes available to eat, and muffins were also provided. The entire trip was incredibly relaxing and fun. We saw some stunning scenery. I really loved this tour; the crew was very friendly, and it offered excellent value for money. You definitely have to try it!
