recommended tour. the basic meal pack consists of a bun, banana and fruit and pepsi. we stopped by 3 photo spots on the way. at zhanglaoshi rest stop, we changed to a smaller car and drove to the halfway house area. then we started the 6.8km hike (3.2km up and 3.6km downhill). the driver is also the tour guide, my tour guide was very professional and helpful. i was inexperienced in hiking mountain paths and needed extra assistance and he was there to assist me on the downhill section. important to note that for people with no hiking experience, the downhill path is rather scary as there are no barriers and the path is filled with rocks. this middle gorge route also does not include the upper gorge, so you won't be able to get the "iconic" tiger gorge photo. pick this route only if you are interested in the experience of hiking haba mountain. the hike takes around 2-3h depending on your speed and experience.

This one day tour was a great experience for me and my husband - absolutely breathtaking scenery. The itinerary is well planned, with many scenic rest stops to take photos, grab a snack and use the bathroom. This is a cost-effective product that allows you to explore Tiger Leaping Gorge and Shangri-La by car for a day. However, since the tour is conducted in Chinese, it seems only suitable for those who can speak Chinese.

Very nice tour. Not rushed. Just a steady pace for us to savor everything. Best day was the first day where we get to do a light hike and go mushroom picking. The weather was quite hot in the summer but nights were cool. Unfortunately the last day we didn't get to view the sunrise over Meili Mountains due to rain and fog. Anyhow big thanks to our excellent guide YiXiLaMu. Excellent driving and helpful in every way.

O passeio forneceu bastões de caminhada. Caminhamos de onde estacionamos até a pousada Teahorse, voltamos para a pousada Halfway para almoçar e depois para a cachoeira Longdong. O guia nos deu a opção de caminhar até a pousada Zhanglaoshi por conta própria, em vez de voltar pelo mesmo caminho para o carro, e nos buscou na estrada principal no final da trilha. Caminhada total de 12,7 km, mas o terreno era fácil e adequado para iniciantes. O guia tirou muitas fotos nossas e as enviou quase imediatamente no WeChat. Condução muito segura nas estradas da montanha.
