Passeios por Te Pa Tu - The Gathering Place

Although it was a sunny day when we visited, the temperature wasn't high. Walking through the geothermal valley, we found the temperature very comfortable. The park offers a lavish buffet (over 1,000 NTD per meal, which we didn't try). Most of the food is steamed using geothermal heat, allowing visitors to taste what food cooked with geothermal heat tastes like.

We joined the Rotorua tour with CheekyKiwi Tours and had Jeoff as our driver/guide. He was professional, friendly, and made the journey enjoyable with his humor and stories. Wai-O-Tapu’s geothermal wonders were breathtaking, the Polynesian Spa was the perfect place to relax, and the Rotorua city tour gave great local flavor. Jeoff’s care, attentiveness, and knowledge made the day unforgettable. Highly recommend both CheekyKiwi Tours and Jeoff!

導遊非常親切，介紹詳細，小孩有機會近距離餵食小動物，非常有趣！票券查驗也非常的方便，只要出示QR Code即可。

La réservation est très facile. Le guide était drôle et très gentil. Nous avons fait le voyage à la fin de l'automne, il faisait donc très froid à cause du vent lorsque le bateau se déplace. Les lacs sont majestueux.

It was amazing, the guide was so knowledgeable and explained everything properly. The Haka performance was too good. Overall, the experience was great. One must visit this to learn about Māori culture and how they live their lives.

The reception staff were very enthusiastic, and the driver greeted every guest kindly, making everyone feel right at home! The attractions are beautiful, and the Maori culture is impressive and worth exploring.

I can only say, I booked the right one! The driver, Joseph, was incredibly thoughtful, with a very pleasant voice. He patiently shared and introduced all sorts of things about New Zealand along the way, making sure everyone understood and was safely returned to their hotel. I felt very well taken care of! The driving habits and rules are quite different from Taiwan, so getting to know them from someone familiar made me feel relaxed and able to absorb everything effectively. He gave me 3 hours to fully enjoy the geothermal hot springs in the morning, which was absolutely amazing. Just remember to bring your swimsuit. Klook's pre-trip notifications and activity descriptions didn't mention what to bring (I looked in many places and didn't see it), perhaps this could be improved! All in all, it was a truly high-value itinerary. Highly recommended as the top choice for visiting New Zealand!
