Te Pa Tu - The Gathering Place ture

A very interesting and informative tour. The guide is native living in that area. She was very knowledgeable and her commentary was very clear.

Det var virkelig fantastisk at se gejseren, termalparken og forstå maorikulturen. Burgerfrokosten er også lækker.

it was an amazing experience. Our tour guides Sandra and Michelle were too good. Very knowledgeable.

Meget interessant sted at besøge. Man kan se, hvordan maori-folket lever i landsbyen. Den grønne sø er smuk, og forestillingen var fantastisk. Maden var god!

The Whakarewarewa is a living Maori village shaped by many geysers where they bathe and cook, among other activities. It's home to around 21 families today - which gave the tour an authentic feel. The power of their haka and other songs and dances from their live performance were spirit-lifting. Our village guide was a young clan chief who was knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining. As for the Redwoods forest, it was walking among greatness. Take time to walk on the ground too, to fully experience these majesty of these trees. Wayne, the guide who drove us from Auckland to Rotorua showed us the beautiful New Zealand countryside landscape and was informative, helpful info too. All in all, this was a terrific and informative day trip. Well worth it.
