This was my first time visiting for the lunch buffet since the restaurant renovation, and it was for a friend's birthday. The food quality was very high, with oysters, king crab legs, sashimi, chilled shrimp, and chilled conch available. While the variety wasn't extensive, freshness was paramount. It was a shame that on a Saturday, the restaurant was only about half full; I hope business improves in the future. The biggest surprise was the bar staff, who made specialty drinks for guests on the spot. Besides regular coffee or tea, she could also prepare iced lattes (no ice, no sugar) or coffee tonics. My friends and I were all very happy, eating and chatting slowly from 12 PM to 2:30 PM. It was a great weekend activity, and I highly recommend everyone try it!

It's just a short walk from the bus stop or MTR station, making it extremely accessible. The overall design of the restaurant is very distinctive, combining a nostalgic, retro cinematic feel with modern and comfortable elegance. The moment you step in, you feel relaxed and happy. Impeccable staff service 💯 I particularly want to commend the service attitude of all the front-line staff that day! From the host seating guests, to the plate clearers, and the chefs at each food counter, everyone was smiling and incredibly polite. The plate clearing was very fast and efficient, never allowing empty plates to pile up on the table. They were also constantly attentive to guests' needs, making everyone feel truly welcome and well-cared for. Extremely high standard of food quality (seafood & food) 🦀 What amazed me most was the richness and quality of the food! The seafood was incredibly fresh, and cold dishes like oysters and bread crabs were replenished very quickly – I never saw an empty platter. The hot food selection was diverse, whether it was roasted beef, roasted lamb leg, flavorful cooked dishes, or exquisite dim sum, the seasoning was just right, clearly showing the culinary team's dedication. The dessert section was the perfect ending, with a wide selection of ice cream and various delicate mini cakes, all of a standard that rivals high-end dessert shops. In summary: The Astor restaurant demonstrates extremely high standards in terms of environment, service, and food, offering excellent value for money. I've been to Tsui Yuen at New Town Plaza in Sha Tin twice recently for dim sum. The dim sum is usually quite good, so I bought a coupon when I saw a Klook offer. I arrived around 10:30 AM on June 6th, and the staff were very nice. Even though I was early, they quickly seated me. However, the dim sum that day was very disappointing. The fried items weren't hot enough; they seemed like they had been sitting for a while. The skin was dry and soft, not crispy. The har gow (shrimp dumplings) and siu mai (pork dumplings) were even worse. They tasted like frozen, pre-made dim sum bought from a supermarket. The siu mai also had a very strong MSG flavor. I wondered if the dim sum for Klook customers was pre-made. I asked a server, who said the kitchen doesn't differentiate between Klook customers and regular diners. But it was very strange; the dim sum that day didn't taste like what I usually have there. Despite this, the restaurant staff were very polite.

We booked early and were able to get a window seat; the view was amazing and comfortable. The food was great. It was a fun experience eating the lunch buffet with my friends here. The service is excellent. They are polite. It's rare to find such attentiveness these days, except in very expensive restaurants.

The hotel's Japanese robatayaki offers a wide variety of food options, with over thirty dishes available for all-you-can-eat, and the overall taste is quite good. The standout dishes are the grilled beef (all-you-can-eat) and the pineapple sorbet (one serving per person). Dining from 12:00 to 14:30 provides ample time, and it also includes a non-alcoholic drink. Coupled with the friendly and polite staff who continuously refill tea and change plates, being able to enjoy such a cost-effective lunch on a weekend is truly satisfying!

I've always wanted to bring my husband to Felix for the experience. Many years ago, my sister and I came here for drinks, and at the time, I felt the place was quite dark and not as beautiful as I'd imagined. My memory might be a bit hazy now, so this time I specifically came with my husband to celebrate my birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. As soon as we entered the hotel lobby, the lobby manager escorted us directly to the elevator up to the restaurant, and then arranged a window seat for us, which was very thoughtful. Although I specifically called ahead to arrange it, the hotel did their best to accommodate my request, so I was very satisfied. As for the food, it was, of course, exceptional. The seafood in the seafood tower was very fresh. The dish that truly amazed me was the hot appetizer—the duck breast. The skin was crispy, and the meat inside was tender, almost like eating roast goose, not at all like the dry texture usually associated with duck breast. It was incredibly delicious. Besides that, the ambiance was excellent; we enjoyed our meal while looking out at the night sea view. All the staff that evening were very friendly, and finally, they presented me with birthday chocolates. It was truly a perfect start to the evening and a wonderful dining experience.
