This was my first time visiting for the lunch buffet since the restaurant renovation, and it was for a friend's birthday. The food quality was very high, with oysters, king crab legs, sashimi, chilled shrimp, and chilled conch available. While the variety wasn't extensive, freshness was paramount. It was a shame that on a Saturday, the restaurant was only about half full; I hope business improves in the future. The biggest surprise was the bar staff, who made specialty drinks for guests on the spot. Besides regular coffee or tea, she could also prepare iced lattes (no ice, no sugar) or coffee tonics. My friends and I were all very happy, eating and chatting slowly from 12 PM to 2:30 PM. It was a great weekend activity, and I highly recommend everyone try it!

This time, I bought a Häagen-Dazs ice cream fondue voucher on Klook during a special offer, and it was incredibly cost-effective! The redemption process was very smooth; I just had to show the QR code at the store, which was convenient and quick. There was a rich variety of ice cream flavors, and they paired perfectly with the rich chocolate sauce. The packaging was exquisite, making it suitable for enjoying at home or as a gift. It was much cheaper than buying it directly at the store. I highly recommend it to friends who love desserts, and I will definitely repurchase it next time there's a promotion!

Zowel de locatie, de service als de kwaliteit van het eten overtroffen mijn verwachtingen volledig! Uitstekende en gunstige locatie 📍 Het restaurant bevindt zich in het Eaton Hotel, wat zeer gunstig gelegen is. Het is gemakkelijk te bereiken met de bus of de MTR, op korte loopafstand van het station. Het algehele interieurontwerp van het restaurant is zeer karakteristiek, met een nostalgische, retro filmachtige sfeer gecombineerd met modern comfort. Zodra je binnenstapt, voel je je ontspannen en blij. Onberispelijke service van het personeel 💯 Ik wil in het bijzonder de service van al het frontliniepersoneel die dag prijzen! Van de gastvrouw die ons naar onze tafel bracht, het personeel dat de borden afruimde, tot de koks bij de verschillende eetkraampjes, iedereen was glimlachend en uiterst beleefd. De borden werden zeer snel en efficiënt afgeruimd, zodat er nooit lege borden op tafel bleven staan. Ze waren constant alert op de behoeften van de gasten, waardoor je je echt welkom voelde. Zeer hoge kwaliteit van zeevruchten en eten 🦀 Wat me het meest verraste, was de overvloed en kwaliteit van het eten! De zeevruchten waren zeer vers, en koude gerechten zoals oesters en broodkrabben werden extreem snel aangevuld; ik heb nooit een leeg bord gezien. De warme gerechten waren divers, of het nu geroosterd rundvlees, geroosterde lamsbout, smaakvolle gekookte gerechten of delicate dim sum was, de kruiding was perfect. Je kon de toewijding van het keukenteam proeven. Het dessertgedeelte was de perfecte afsluiting, met een enorme keuze aan ijs en diverse delicate gebakjes, waarvan de kwaliteit absoluut niet onderdeed voor die van luxe patisserieën. Samenvattend: Restaurant The Astor toont een zeer hoog niveau op het gebied van ambiance, service en eten, met een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Dit is absoluut een eetervaring die je opnieuw wilt beleven, en ik raad het ten zeerste aan aan iedereen die op zoek is naar heerlijk eten en uitstekende service!

We boekten vroeg en kregen een tafel bij het raam, het uitzicht was geweldig en comfortabel. Het eten was heerlijk. Het was een leuke ervaring om hier met mijn vrienden te lunchen. De service is uitstekend. Ze zijn beleefd. Het is tegenwoordig zeldzaam om zulke oplettendheid te vinden, behalve in zeer dure restaurants.

Ik ben de laatste tijd twee keer naar Tsui Yuen in New Town Plaza in Sha Tin geweest om dim sum te eten. De dim sum was niet slecht, en toen ik een aanbieding op Klook zag, kocht ik een coupon. Op 6 juni rond 10.30 uur arriveerde ik en het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Hoewel ik vroeg was, werd ik snel naar een tafel begeleid. Maar de dim sum van die dag viel erg tegen. Het gefrituurde eten was niet warm genoeg, alsof het al een tijdje had gestaan. De korst was droog en zacht, niet knapperig. De har gow en siu mai waren nog erger. Het leek wel op diepvries dim sum uit de supermarkt. De siu mai bevatte ook veel MSG. Ik vroeg me af of de dim sum van Klook misschien vooraf bereid was. Ik vroeg het aan de serveerster. Ze zei dat de keuken geen onderscheid maakt tussen Klook-klanten en gewone gasten, maar het was vreemd, de dim sum van die dag was niet zoals ik gewend was. Het personeel van het restaurant was echter zeer beleefd.

I've always wanted to bring my husband to Felix for the experience. Many years ago, my sister and I came here for drinks, and at the time, I felt the place was quite dark and not as beautiful as I'd imagined. My memory might be a bit hazy now, so this time I specifically came with my husband to celebrate my birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. As soon as we entered the hotel lobby, the lobby manager escorted us directly to the elevator up to the restaurant, and then arranged a window seat for us, which was very thoughtful. Although I specifically called ahead to arrange it, the hotel did their best to accommodate my request, so I was very satisfied. As for the food, it was, of course, exceptional. The seafood in the seafood tower was very fresh. The dish that truly amazed me was the hot appetizer—the duck breast. The skin was crispy, and the meat inside was tender, almost like eating roast goose, not at all like the dry texture usually associated with duck breast. It was incredibly delicious. Besides that, the ambiance was excellent; we enjoyed our meal while looking out at the night sea view. All the staff that evening were very friendly, and finally, they presented me with birthday chocolates. It was truly a perfect start to the evening and a wonderful dining experience. This time, we booked the dinner buffet for a birthday celebration. The last time I visited was three years ago for the lunch buffet. While the variety of food isn't extensive, the quality is excellent. I'm grateful to the restaurant for arranging a window seat for us this time; the view was lovely. The evening atmosphere is much better than during the day. There weren't too many diners, and everyone was very orderly when getting food, allowing us to enjoy our meal in a quiet and comfortable environment. 👍🏻 A special mention goes to the attentive staff who constantly checked if any plates needed to be cleared. They even prepared a small cake and took photos of us with the night view from the window sill. 🙂 The theme of this buffet was Japanese cuisine, featuring dishes like sukiyaki and caviar wagyu sushi, which suited my current preference for lighter meals. Additionally, the ginseng chicken soup had a strong ginseng flavor without being too overpowering; I had three extra servings! The desserts were decent, and there was a good selection of homemade gelato flavors. One highlight was the unique baked goods; I even made my own mini pineapple bun. 🤭
