We booked the tour last minute as we were a bit hesitant that the farm is 1.5 hours away from Christchurch town. But we ended up booking and just decided to take their 11 am tour. Surprisingly, the alpacas don't have any foul smell and look like they are well taken care of. The activity is fun too, you will get to meet and touch the male alpacas first, then they will let you feed the female and newborns.

Luca was very friendly and passionate about sharing his knowledge and experiences about our space. We were lucky to see the aurora on the day of our visit. He patiently answered all our questions, especially since our enthusiastic son had too many questions. Very informative session, highly recommend him.

The tour was amazing! We saw the Akaroa landscape and went kayaking in Flea Bay. We saw blue penguins and many seals in the bay, and finally, a penguin nest up on the cliff.

Our tour guide, Chen Liang, was excellent. He planned the time perfectly and even helped us book tickets for the dolphin cruise. We had plenty of time, and he stopped at several places along the way for us to take photos. It was fantastic!
