On May 16, 2026, I joined a one-day tour, and the weather was absolutely beautiful 🌞. Our guide, Harry, was British, very kind and enthusiastic. Our fellow tour members were also very nice. Harry reminded us when to gather at each attraction and enthusiastically helped us take photos. With this tour, there's no need to worry about how to buy cable car tickets or how to get to the cable car station; Klook handles all the arrangements. We took two cable cars up to Kamikochi, and from the cable car, we could gaze at the distant high mountains, seeing Japan's Alps – it was truly stunning! Because the weather was exceptionally good, we even saw the super distant Mount Haku. Our guide said we were very lucky to be able to see it. Then we went to Taisho Pond to see its clear stream, and walked to Kappa Bridge to admire the same mountains from a different perspective. The scenery along the way was truly breathtakingly beautiful! It's definitely worth a visit! 👍

The two places visited were worth it. Enjoy eating the famous Hida beef ramen and puddings at Takayama Old Street. Shirakawago is indeed a very nice place to visit, even though we only had 2 hours.

Guide Hemi was very relaxed, and the entire trip was easygoing and flowed smoothly. Thanks to his foresight regarding the weather changes, our group fully enjoyed the clear view of the Northern Alps! The day trip also covered the intended locations well. Thank you again, Hemi (and Fiorentina), and we strongly recommend going on this trip!

The day trip is very convenient, and you can bring a stroller. The itinerary is a bit rushed, so it's recommended to choose a tour that includes lunch, which will give you more time to explore.

Our guide, Xiaoyu, explained everything in great detail. Before each attraction, she provided thorough explanations and recommended shops, making us feel at ease that we wouldn't miss anything. She even gave us a Nagoya food guide at the end. The included lunch was a great choice; the wagyu hot pot was delicious, and we could refill our rice and soup. We realized upon arriving at the attractions that it's not always easy to find a restaurant, so including lunch was definitely the right decision.

The tour guide was very thoughtful, sending information about shops, restaurants, and souvenir stores at the attractions before departure. During the journey, which involved longer driving times, the guide also scheduled a 15-minute rest stop at a service area. Before arriving at each attraction, a brief cultural introduction was provided, and upon arrival, the guide offered a simple explanation to travelers before allowing free time.

It's a nice day trip that lets you visit two amazing places. Since it's an organized tour, don't expect that you will have enough time to roam around. I booked this tour so I don't have to worry about transportation and it's been great!
