Excursão de 2 dias ao Patrimônio Mundial de Nagoya Shirakawa-go e Castelo de Kanazawa

Such a great tour with good enthusiastic guide 小Xi and safe Japanese driver. Big coach was clean and comfortable. The scenery along the way was beautiful. Everything went well. We were very lucky to have a guide who spoke clearly and gave detailed instructions, information and recommendations both verbally and through WhatsApp. The itinerary was excellent with sufficient time at every stop. The tour is self-guided so we enjoyed the flexibility to do what we want and roam around freely based on the many places suggested by 小Xi who WhatsApp the exact location on Google maps to us. He also provided maps and gave food suggestions. We stayed at Hotel MyStays Kanazawa. Rooms are clean and new but very small. Double bed is also very small for two people. Best to ask for twin beds when booking this tour. Breakfast at the hotel was great with a wide spread of local and continental food. Overall we enjoyed this tour very much. Highly recommend this over a day tour to Shirakawago/Takayama.

This time, from January 12-13, 2025, I participated in the Easy Go two-day, one-night tour, and the itinerary was excellent. There were two Chinese-speaking tour guides who thoughtfully introduced the order of visiting each attraction and shopping area. Day 1: From Nagoya to Takayama, with a rest stop for restrooms in between. First stop: Takayama for 3 hours. Second stop: Shirakawa-go for 2 hours. Third stop: Hotel Wing International Premium Kanazawa Ekimae. Day 2: First stop: Kanazawa – Kenrokuen Garden + Kanazawa Castle Park for 2 hours. Second stop: Omicho Market for 1.5 hours. Third stop: Higashi Chaya District for 1.5 hours. The drive from Kanazawa to Nagoya is 3.5 hours, with a stop at the rest area "Snack Corner Hirugano Kogen SA (Uplink)."

His professionalism and attentive service made the entire journey more enjoyable and smooth. Throughout the trip, he paid great attention to every detail, and when any issues arose, he was able to resolve them quickly and effectively, leaving us worry-free. His patient explanations and enthusiastic guidance gave us a deeper understanding of the destination and added a lot of fun. Many thanks for his efforts and professionalism. This is a great trip. As we don’t drive, it’s very convenient to join the tour and I don’t have to bother with traffic. We just need to assemble outside Nagoya Station and the bus would take us to Shirakawa-go, Takayama, and Kanazawa. On the first day, it took around 2.5 hours from Nagoya Station to Shirakawa-go, then we spent 2 hours there. After that, it took around 2 hours to get to Takayama, and we spent 3 hours there. We were lucky enough to eat at the famous grilled beef restaurant Maruaki (丸明). After Takayama, the bus drove us to Kanazawa, and we stayed at the HOTEL MYSTAYS Kanazawa Castle. It is a very comfortable hotel with a hot spring, and we were able to have a good rest. On the second day, we spent 1 hour at Kenroku-en, then 1 hour at the teahouse street, and finally two hours at Omicho Market until 2:30 PM. It took around 3.5 hours to travel back to Nagoya Station. Overall, it’s a wonderful tour.

This was the happiest Klook tour I've ever joined! Many thanks to our guide Moon and driver Master Ding for their care and arrangements. Our fellow travelers were from the Philippines and Singapore, and we thank everyone for their company; we had a wonderful two days together! This time we rode in a medium-sized vehicle, which was quite comfortable. Moon even specially arranged for us to see and take photos in the snow, which made us southerners very happy! We also went to eat Korean BBQ with our fellow travelers and guide, which was inexpensive and delicious. I felt Kenrokuen wasn't very impressive because it was raining that day, and the cherry blossoms hadn't bloomed in mid-March, which was a shame. The hotel we stayed at this time was good, and the shampoo and conditioner were very moisturizing, which was perfect.

Enjoyable trip, it’s great that I am able to bring my luggage with me into the mini bus which was convenient to me, journey was a bit of uncomfortable with confined space and was seated on a wheel tops . Overall is an amazing place to visit. Strongly Recommended.

I previously participated in a KKDAY day tour (Miyama thatched-roof village), and the guide at that time was very dedicated. They constantly provided introductions on the bus, led us around, and even proactively helped everyone queue for popular donuts. I thought this time would be the same... but it wasn't. The person accompanying the group could only be considered a Chinese-speaking staff member. They would speak for five minutes before arriving at a stop, and once we arrived, we were truly confused about where to go (because we thought we wouldn't need to do research beforehand if we were with a tour group, and the guide would explain everything). Feeling a bit angry, I re-checked the description page and confirmed that the "guide" option was indeed not checked. No wonder Xiao Dong didn't say much; after all, it wasn't within her job responsibilities. It's just a pity that no route was arranged at Shirakawa-go. Not only did we miss the observation deck, but we also didn't visit the three houses. We wasted time queuing for that pudding, only to give up and not buy it in the end... If we had done our homework in advance, or if the guide had suggested a route, we would have had a concept and wouldn't have missed both, leaving us with regrets. Actually, the highlight was the Shirakawa-go itinerary on the first day; the Kanazawa itinerary on the second day was rather boring. If you're not interested in the second day's itinerary, you could consider just doing a day tour, but it might be a bit rushed? We stayed in Takayama for three hours and Shirakawa-go for two hours. Personally, I feel that three hours in Takayama isn't necessary; about 2.5 hours, including eating, would be enough, leaving half an hour for Shirakawa-go, as that's the highlight of the entire trip! But the accommodation is highly recommended. It's close to Kanazawa Station, and the room is spacious enough. The three of us slept in a quad room, and there was plenty of space to open our luggage. In short, for more distant excursions, I highly recommend participating in these local one or two-day tours. However, if you want more guide introductions and a worry-free experience, you should specifically look for services that include a guide, otherwise, you might end up as confused as we were, and even waste some time~~

I've joined this tour group before, but this time the tour guide was very responsible. At each attraction, they gave us maps and marked the routes, and also told us where to find good food, even sending us links. It was really practical.
