J'ai réservé la visite de l'arène du Colisée avec le mont Palatin et le Forum romain via Carpe Diem Tours, et l'expérience a été fluide et agréable. Leur communication est excellente — ils sont très réactifs sur WhatsApp et vous enverront un message si vous êtes en retard. Ils ont également une application Carpe Diem, que je recommande de télécharger. Le guide parlait un anglais clair et utilisait des livres de photos pour montrer à quoi ressemblaient les sites à l'origine, ce qui a vraiment aidé à la visualisation. La zone n'est pas comme un musée — il n'y a pas d'exposition organisée ni de panneaux d'information à lire. Sans guide, la plupart des ruines seraient difficiles à interpréter. Le mont Palatin implique pas mal de marche, et le Colisée a des marches raides pour monter et sortir. Ce qui a le plus marqué, c'est à quel point le guide était interactif, expliquant l'histoire d'une manière qui rendait tout plus captivant, car en explorant seul, les ruines peuvent commencer à ressembler à des « rochers de différentes tailles ».

This tour is a well planned tour. Love the energy and the passion of the tour guides on both tour. Both are very knowledgeable about the tour/subject. I got picked up from my hotel going to the Vatican in the morning. They also drove me from the Vatican to the Colosseum. I was not able to eat lunch in between tours though, because the Vatican tour took a while, but we were able to finish everything just in time. There's too much information that 3 hours at the Vatican museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica would not be enough. It's so worth it though. I took lots of photos and videos, except at the Sistine Chapel where photos and videos are not allowed. Super stoked to see the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum. Highly recommended!

The tour guide's explanation was very clear and detailed. He also gave us free time and water breaks. His time management was excellent, and he was open to our questions about the Colosseum and Palatine Hill. Overall, he is a professional tour guide.

There was the booking group who waited for us at the specified location, and our guide, an elderly lady (I didn't get her name), was very knowledgeable about the Vatican City. I learned a lot from this trip. Also, it was superb to see the stamina and enthusiasm of the guide, which kept us wanting more.

Our Vatican Museums tour was outstanding. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and attentive throughout the entire experience. She made sure everyone stayed together and never felt lost, which we really appreciated given how busy it can be. Her explanations were clear, engaging, and full of insight, bringing the history and artwork to life. She guided us seamlessly through the museums—truly a magnificent experience from start to finish.

Visiting the Colosseum today offers a fascinating glimpse into Roman history. The site is impressive both in scale and historical significance. You can explore the lower levels where gladiators once waited, as well as the upper tiers with stunning views of the city. The preservation of the Colosseum isn’t perfect, but it adds to the sense of ancient ruin and grandeur

The service provider was on time. They called us 15 minutes before the scheduled time, but once we arrived, we understood why. There was already a long line forming; luckily, we had priority tickets. Make sure to come early!
