Although my feet hurt from walking, Alishan is truly beautiful, simply a place where immortals reside~ It's definitely worth visiting. The driver who took us up the mountain drove very steadily, making the journey smooth and comfortable. Tour guide Wu's explanations were excellent, humorous, and engaging. It's a pity we didn't get to see the sunrise at Zhushan Station, leaving a small regret, but we can come again next time.

It was pouring rain and foggy when we went up Alishan that day. The driver was very kind, giving us various reminders, and drove very steadily. My mother, who usually gets motion sickness, also said it was excellent! Perhaps the Mercedes' suspension was particularly good, as the mountain road was indeed winding. Throughout the long journey, everything outside felt like looking at flowers through a fog, yet the driver could still see the road, which was truly amazing!

The charm of the forest railway was what drew me to book a 2-day, 1-night trip to Alishan (outbound: car, return: car + train). After confirming the reservation, I received information about what to bring and precautions via LINE, and just before the trip, I got detailed updates on the meeting point, driver's name, and vehicle number, which was reassuring. (Although everything was in Chinese, translation software helped me understand.) The documents provided when boarding the shuttle car also included Japanese, which was easy to understand. The guide spoke Chinese, so I couldn't understand without someone translating, but there were many explanation times during the 2-hour hike, and the paths were well-maintained with wooden decks and stone pavements, so even I, with low stamina, could walk comfortably even in the rain. One thing to note is that if you use a private shuttle car, there's a high risk of motion sickness because it drives on winding mountain roads with considerable inclines. Even though I don't usually get motion sickness, I felt quite ill in the shuttle car on the way back from Alishan to Fenqihu, and I regretted not bringing motion sickness medication.

The entire trip was a fantastic experience. Both drivers and tour guides were very professional, providing us with a lot of interesting and useful information throughout the journey.

Alishan is a hassle-free destination for those who find it difficult to navigate. With all transportation and hotel bookings available in one stop, it saved me a lot of trouble. The hotel provided was Ying Shan Hotel, which is very close to the central location. It's a shame we didn't manage to catch the sunrise as it was too foggy. The dinner was quite acceptable for me, but breakfast was just so-so. The train ride back down was quite bumpy.

The tourist factory near Chiayi Minxiong is very educational! It's perfect for bringing children and adding a 1.5-hour activity! Using Klook is very convenient, buy and use immediately 🎀

The travel agency provided very detailed information and reminded us in advance of things to pay attention to! We had a dedicated shuttle service up the mountain, and the driver's skills were excellent, and the car was very comfortable. Along the way, he introduced the surrounding environment and explained the itinerary in detail. We were very satisfied with the overall arrangement! The forest walk on Alishan was guided by a passionate and dedicated guide. The guide also recommended the Shuishan Healing Trail, where we could admire giant trees. We walked that trail on our second day of free travel, and it was unforgettable. This time, we saw the cherry blossoms on Alishan and took the small train down the mountain. It was a very memorable journey, and we are very grateful 🙏

The interior is beautifully maintained, and the staff are very thoughtful, providing basic guided tours. As I didn't purchase any food, I can't comment on that aspect.
