Chiayi: Excursão de um dia a Alishan e excursão de vários dias a partir de Chiayi

The charm of the forest railway was what drew me to book a 2-day, 1-night trip to Alishan (outbound: car, return: car + train). After confirming the reservation, I received information about what to bring and precautions via LINE, and just before the trip, I got detailed updates on the meeting point, driver's name, and vehicle number, which was reassuring. (Although everything was in Chinese, translation software helped me understand.) The documents provided when boarding the shuttle car also included Japanese, which was easy to understand. The guide spoke Chinese, so I couldn't understand without someone translating, but there were many explanation times during the 2-hour hike, and the paths were well-maintained with wooden decks and stone pavements, so even I, with low stamina, could walk comfortably even in the rain. One thing to note is that if you use a private shuttle car, there's a high risk of motion sickness because it drives on winding mountain roads with considerable inclines. Even though I don't usually get motion sickness, I felt quite ill in the shuttle car on the way back from Alishan to Fenqihu, and I regretted not bringing motion sickness medication.

The best tour that Ive been on so far! The driver picked us up on time, had a bag with all the essentials including water, snacks, maps and got all our tickets ready. He was amazing in taking pictures and knew all the nice places! I was very happy although I was the only one who couldnt speak in Chinese, he explained it to me separately in English which I highly appreciated. As for the location, it was really pretty and although the roads were rough (especially for someone with motion sickness), I actually did not feel it after taking my medication and falling asleep as the van was very comfortable.

I don't think it's expensive, and it's worth it, especially for solo travelers. There's no need to rush for the bus or endure long travel times. The driver will explain some history to broaden your knowledge and help everyone take photos at every stop. A major plus is that the driver assists with purchasing train tickets, and a lunch box is included. You'll stop at Fengqi, a tea garden, and several different walking trails on the way to Alishan, which you wouldn't be able to visit if you took public buses. There are also stops for restrooms, and the driver provides tips on what to see and where to go inside the park. Although you only get about two hours inside Alishan National Forest, it's sufficient if you're not planning to climb to the very top. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and had a good rest in the MPV. I also got to see diverse scenery along the way. It was unhurried and relaxing. My only regret is that the weather wasn't great in the evening, so I couldn't see a beautiful sunset or the sea of clouds. There's no forced purchasing if you're taken to a souvenir store.

行程很棒，一點也不趕。導遊吳先生很稱職，對歷史和發展的解釋非常詳細。飯店一般般，但離阿里山火車站大約5分鐘路程，方便搭乘日出小火車。火鍋晚餐也很好吃。

很棒的體驗，這次選擇第一天坐小火車上阿里山，雖然價格比較高、到阿里山的時間也需要比較久，另外前往阿里山的火車是舊式的，和一般常坐的火車相比，比較小台，因此座位較少空間也較小、坐起來搖搖晃晃的，但搭著火車沿路欣賞風景，看著從嘉義火車站出發的嘉義市區街景，慢慢轉換到阿里山的樹林山景，最後在十字路火車站下車，是很特別的體驗！而參加旅行社行程的好處，就是不需要自己搶隔天要前往祝山火車站看日出的火車票、還會有導遊進行導覽解說，很適合第一次到阿里山的遊客，可以輕鬆簡單的了解阿里山及其特色和歷史。飯店的部分旅行社這次安排我們入住文山賓館，是老飯店，沒有電梯，但環境整潔乾淨，維護的還算不錯！隔天凌晨5點的小火車，當天遊客也是非常多，若想有看日出的絕佳位置，我想可能需要提早至少一小時就先到火車站排隊，當天雲層厚沒有看到日出，讓我有了下次再訪阿里山的好理由！而第二天我們選擇專車接駁，12點多出發，12點前可以自由探訪阿里山，一開始覺得時間很充裕，但走了行程建議的水山步道後才發現根本不夠啊～好想在阿里山待久一點！返程司機兼導遊開得有點狠讓我有點暈車，沿路會到奮起湖、愛情大草原以及檜意生活村，個人覺得每處停留的時間都稍趕了點，可以刪掉較沒有什麼的愛情大草原。下午五點抵達嘉義火車站，結束此次的旅程，總體來說是一趟值得體驗的療癒之旅，打完這篇心得後我又開始懷念阿里山了～

This was a very well-organized trip. I wasn’t expecting much and this exceeded my expectations. From the confirmation WhatsApp messages to answering my questions, the tour operator was quick to reply and understood what I was asking (in English). The day before, you are put into a large WhatsApp group and everyone going on the tour is sent messages to let them know which transfer vehicles they will be boarding. Different drivers and guides appear along the way. An information package with vouchers, maps, and the itinerary are given out the moment you meet your first driver. Large luggage is driven up to the hotel, the train ride up Alishan was fun and beautiful in an old swaying train, and upon arrival there is someone waiting to pick you up. Timings of when to be back are verbally given out; use a translator app if you cannot understand. Watch your timings. There are a lot of people waiting for the sunrise train; you get an option to switch to a bus to go to another location too.

非常推薦的行程，司機徐先生到飯店接我們。開車時，他非常詳細地告訴我們阿里山的背景故事。行程描述也很清楚，包含所有門票和午餐，所以我們不用擔心門票和餐點。真的是一次輕鬆愉快的旅行，我很喜歡。

It’s a great journey as it was well organised and the information was available and reminded all the time. We got notifications of who and when we would be picked up and where to go. This two-days trip was just right for me and my family. It was not rushed and we had plenty of time to explore the Alishan Trils ourselves. The included vegetarian dinner and breakfast were great value. overall we are really enjoying this trip.

pengalaman aku ambil tour ini cukup memuaskan dan membantu. krn aku pergi dengan 2 org tua ku. berangkat dengan mobil besar ber 7 dengan yang lainnya yg ga dikenal, tapi mobilnya nyaman bngt, luas lega gitu. lalu turun dengan kereta khas Alishan yang sudah tua umurnya. agak bersuara krn kereta lama gitu, tp pemandangan nya (jika tdk berkabut) itu indah banget... pengalaman yg berkesan. utk yg masih bingung, dan gatau nantinya disana gimana.. mngkin bisa di coba. 👍

點選klook的行程，在嘉義車站找到專屬小火車月台，等候列車進站，坐上小火車搖搖晃晃三個小時擠在一個小小的空間裡，能夠體會到以前人的不容易，也回憶了以前坐過平快快車的感覺，沿途三種特色風景樹木、車站跟山洞😅這一路有愛玩美旅社安排賓士小巴載我們上山到飯店還有回程的下山，行程中就包含了住宿的當日晚餐隔日早餐，還有導覽人員蠻棒的體驗。 正好天氣也不會太熱太冷，雖然有起霧跟毛毛的雨，這溫度很適合我們怕冷怕熱的體質🤣
