Chiayi: Excursão de um dia a Alishan e Fenqihu (experiência de trem pequeno de Alishan / partida de Chiayi e Kaohsiung)

The Alishan trip was absolutely fantastic! 🌟👏 The "sacred trees" of Alishan are a breathtaking sight, having stood for thousands of years. These towering "sacred trees" stand silently in the primeval forest; some of these giant red cypresses are over 2,000 years old, earning them the title of "living history textbooks." Being there felt like stepping into another world, like a fairyland. We are so grateful to our tour guide, Kai-ge. He was kind and patient, possessing a wealth of professional knowledge about Alishan's culture, history, flora, and fauna. Along the way, he introduced us to attractions, told historical stories, and helped everyone take photos, adding so much joy to the entire trip. Although it rained heavily and was very foggy, Kai-ge drove very steadily, making us feel safe and secure. He looked after everyone like a big brother from next door, and he worked incredibly hard. Thank you, Kai-ge; it's rare to meet such a dedicated and professional tour guide. Our Taiwan trip ended perfectly, and everything was worth it! 👍👍👍

We are grateful to our tour guide Mr. Yang. He is very enthusiastic, gentlemanly, and helpful. We are a group of 6 with 2 kids and 1 senior, and he gave us a very comfortable tour, and we enjoyed it very much! Alishan is a must-visit in Taiwan! Alishan Mountain is a very beautiful place. The tour guide was very kind and shared a lot of information. Bento lunch was included. The guide took us on a short trek, and the scenery was very beautiful with great weather. We also had a chance to ride the Alishan railway, even though there were many people. Please note, however, that the journey from Kaohsiung to Chiayi and Alishan is quite long and bumpy.

The guide was excellent! We met at the First Bank at 9:00 AM and then drove for 3.5 hours to Alishan, with a few stops along the way. Once we arrived in Alishan, we had lunch and then began exploring this beautiful forest together. The guide knows this vast forest perfectly, with its rich history and numerous trees. Around 3:30 PM, we enjoyed some teas grown in this beautiful forest. We started our return journey around 4:00 PM and arrived back in town around 7:30 PM. I 100% recommend this guide, who is kind, an expert in his field, and we had a lot of fun together. We were a group of four, which made for a great sense of camaraderie. Thank you again, Mr. Guide!

Meeting time is not too early, gives me ample time to travel from Tainan station to Chiayi station. Mr 伍 was clear with his whatsapp messages on the time and where to meet for pickup, plus his vehicle number. Good itinerary as we stopped by a tea shop for tea sampling and toilet break, then headed up to Fenqihu Old Street for lunch at an unassuming bento lunch stall near the parking lots and some time to walk the small old street and visit the station. After that we made our way up to Alishan forest where we had a guided walk by Mr 伍, who is very knowledgeable and a great guide. He accommodated to the pace of the 3 visitors on this trip. The only area of improvement was that he was rushing to get tickets for the train to Alishan station and didn't inform us to hurry up a bit. Lucky we took his fast moving signal and made it just in time for the train departure, otherwise the next train is 30 min wait. After the walk, Mr Wu brought us to the shop to redeem our sweets for the entrance ticket (bought via Klook as well).

The experience was breathtaking and educational. Alishan Forest is magical. We had lunch included in the tour and fresh fruits. We also got to ride the train. Maggie, our English guide, is very kind and very knowledgeable. I will come back here for sure!

Our Alishan trip from Kaohsiung was nothing short of spectacular! Our driver and guide, Mr. Wu (Brother Xian), was incredibly kind. On the way there, he explained Kaohsiung's history and the local way of life, giving us a deep understanding of Kaohsiung's culture. We enjoyed a very authentic local lunch and drank some truly authentic Alishan black tea. Once we arrived at the park, the itinerary was packed. We rode the park shuttle and the mini-train. Throughout the journey, we thank our driver and guide for his very detailed explanations. He also told us how to take beautiful photos and helped us take many group pictures. We were so happy that the weather was perfect; the cherry blossoms and sacred trees were all beautiful. I will recommend this day trip to my friends if they visit Alishan.
