This day trip to Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go Gassho Village was very well-organized. The tour guide introduced the attractions and meeting times on the bus, then allowed travelers free time upon arrival, with a final meeting at a designated spot. I really enjoyed this style of travel. Compared to traditional day trips where you have to follow the guide the whole time, this itinerary was much more relaxed and flexible. There was no pressure to rush or be hurried, allowing us to explore at our own pace. In Hida Takayama, we savored delicious Hida beef skewers and pudding; in Shirakawa-go, we not only admired many beautiful Gassho-zukuri houses but also took many stunning photos. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable day trip experience, highly recommended to everyone!

We had an amazing experience visiting Shirakawago and the Snow Wall! Everything was well organized, and the trip was smooth from start to finish. Shirakawago was absolutely beautiful with its traditional village scenery, and the Snow Wall was truly breathtaking — The atmosphere, views, and memories made this trip unforgettable. Thank you for the wonderful and great arrangement. Highly recommended! The break stops along the way were great, giving us time to rest, clean toilet stop, and make the trip more enjoyable. The accommodation was also very good — clean, comfortable, and pleasant after a long day of traveling.

Private small bus to bring us to Shirakawago and Takayama. Our guide was very knowledgeable about a lot of stuff, but when she was talking in the bus (she was in the front), some couldn't hear very well in the back. For the rest, very good!

The weather is good and the snow is cool; there isn't excessive development or commercialization, allowing one to appreciate the architectural style.

One of the best experiences we've ever had. Our guide, Hiroshi-san, and our driver, Mr. Takeshi, are the best at what they do. Hiroshi-san explained the important points of each tourist spot and is very passionate about his work. We hope to see him again on our next trip.

Definitely a great and an unforgettable experience! Our friendly and informative tour guide (Julian) did a wonderful job in touring us around and providing highlights on the history behind Shirakawa-go village and Hida no Sato Takayama. Although it’s a small group in a mini bus, Julian really took good care of us during this 2-day tour, making sure we were all okay and if we needed anything. Lunch and breakfast were both full-filling and delicious. Shopping at Mitsui Outlet was a nice touch and a fun way to end the tour. Really worth visiting if you want to experience this dreamy snow-covered village called Shirakawa-go. It truly is a magical place. To see is to believe. Definitely a must see! It’s like a fairy-tale from a book or snow-globe that came to life. Highly recommended and would love to visit again! Thank you so much!

I was very worried about the weather because there was a typhoon warning on the day of departure from Nagoya, but fortunately, when we arrived at Hida Takayama and Shirakawa-go, it wasn't raining, so we were able to enjoy the tour as planned. I sincerely thank Guide Lim Ho, who kindly provided tourist information in Korean and Chinese during this tour with my husband. He meticulously shared not only the historical background of the region but also hidden gems for dining and must-try foods, which made the tour even richer. Thanks to our guide, the Hida beef sushi and sake coin tasting were truly the best! Although the wait was a bit long, the soba noodles we had at the Michelin-starred restaurant, and the ice cream and soy sauce dango we enjoyed for dessert... I now understand why this tour is a must-do when visiting Nagoya. Shirakawa-go's Gassho-zukuri village in June was incredibly lush and green, making every photo beautiful no matter how it was taken. Especially when traveling, my husband and I usually only have solo photos because we take turns taking pictures of each other, but thanks to Guide Lim Ho, who took wonderful commemorative photos for us, we were able to capture precious couple photos and create great memories together. It was a perfect tour that made my weather worries seem insignificant. Thank you once again!
