Our guide, Ms. Shion, was amazing! She is very enthusiastic and engaging. The walk covers quite a lot at a good pace, but we didn't spot any maiko or geisha, which was my main objective. I wonder if the route could be reversed so there's a higher chance of spotting the talented artists in the Gion district?

I had so much fun, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish! Since it’s a self-guided tour, there was plenty of room for exploring on our own while still having the flexibility to enjoy the trip at our own pace. Our guide, HaoWen, was also very thoughtful and gave us souvenirs at the end of the trip. Would definitely recommend this tour!

This was such a great tour! Reon was our guide and he was fantastic. He walked at a good pace, had a picture book to show us everything he was talking about, and knew so much about the topics he was discussing. He was able to answer all our questions. A very exciting part was that we got to see a geisha in training (Maiko) walk by, and it brought everything to life. Reon was quick to point her out so we didn’t miss the moment. Great tour, lots of really cool information, and not difficult walking. Would highly recommend. It was awesome seeing Kyoto at night!

The tour was well worth the money, and our guide Gary was very professional. I booked a 1-day tour with Klook when I visited Osaka last winter, and the guide contacted me via WhatsApp beforehand. This time, no one contacted me in advance, which made me very anxious, but everything started very well when we arrived at the meeting point on time as booked. I had a wonderful trip with my husband and children, the lunch was delicious, and enjoying green tea was a lot of fun. You should book this tour if it's your first time visiting the destinations on the itinerary, so you don't have to worry about food or transportation.

The tour experience was great. Our tour guide, CC, introduced the background of the attractions and Japanese history on the touring bus in a fun and comprehensive way, allowing us plenty of free time to explore the attractions on our own. Additionally, she recommended some excellent and affordable restaurants to help us avoid tourist traps. Although visiting three attractions in one day made it a bit tight to explore them in depth, it was well worth it for beginner travelers to enjoy the sights and atmosphere. Furthermore, having a designated touring bus saved us a lot of energy, hassle, and time moving between attractions.

Our tour guide was great. We walked through temples and old streets, and my wife actually saw a geisha. She never would have noticed unless it was pointed out that they ride in cabs, haha. So keep your eyes peeled!

We are lucky to find this tour very last minute. The tour company reached us very soon after we made the booking and confirmed it. Tour guide is so nice preparing candy for us. Bus equipped with strong A/C and the ride is comfortable. Time for each spot is good enough. The trip worths more than what we paid. You can hear the origins and stories of each attraction without having to research them yourself, which is a major benefit 😂. We offer pre-ordered lunch, allowing more time to explore Kiyomizu-dera Temple and its surroundings, and the food is quite good. The itinerary is well-arranged within the limited time (however, if you prefer to savor things slowly and spend more time taking photos, this tour might not be suitable, as the time allocated for Fushimi Inari Shrine is not enough to walk through the entire Senbon Torii!). (Tour Bus) The bus was clean and tidy, and the ride was very smooth. I tend to get motion sickness easily and usually sleep on the bus, but I didn't wake up due to poor driving.
