Yasaka Shrine tours

Our guide Ms Shion was amazing! She is very enthusiastic and engaging. The walk covers quite a lot at a good pace but we didn’t spot any maikos or geishas which was my main objective. I wonder if the route could be reversed so there’s a higher chance of spotting the talented artistes at the the Queen of Geisha district?

I had so much fun, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish! Since it’s a self-guided tour, there was plenty of room for exploring on our own while still having the flexibility to enjoy the trip at our own pace. Our guide, HaoWen, was also very thoughtful and gave us souvenirs at the end of the trip. Would definitely recommend this tour!

I was really looking forward to the guide! Our guide, Oh Seok-bong! He was incredibly knowledgeable and witty, making the bus ride enjoyable and informative with his insights into Japanese culture. This was such a great tour! Reon was our guide and he was fantastic. he walked at a good pace, had a picture book to show us everything he was talking about and knew soooo much about the topics he was talking on. he was able to answer all the questions. a very exciting part was we got to see a geisha in training (Maiko) walk by and it brought everything to life. Reon was quick to point her out so we didn’t miss the moment. great tour , lots of really cool information and not difficult walking. would highly recommend. was awesome seeing Kyoto at night!

The tour experience is nice. Our tour guide CC introduced the background of attractions and Japanese history on the touring bus in a fun and comprehensive way, so we got to have much free time to explore attractions by ourselves. In addition, she also recommended some great and affordable restaurants to avoid tourist traps. Although going three attractions in a day is a bit tight to view deeply in the attractions, it’s worth for beginner travelers to enjoy the sights and vibes. Moreover, having a designated touring bus saved us lots of energy, husstle and time moving among attractions.

The tour was well worth the money, and our guide, Gary, was very professional. When I visited Osaka last winter, I booked a one-day tour through Klook, and the guide contacted me via WhatsApp beforehand. This time, no one contacted me in advance, which made me quite anxious. However, everything started very smoothly once we arrived at the designated time and meeting point. My husband, children, and I had a wonderful trip, enjoyed a delicious lunch, and had a great time tasting green tea. I highly recommend booking this tour if it's your first time visiting the places on the itinerary, as it takes care of your meals and transportation.

Our tour guide, who could switch between Chinese, Japanese, and English, and also spoke Korean, made sure every group member was taken care of. It was a huge benefit not having to research the history and stories of each attraction ourselves. They offered pre-ordered lunch, which allowed us more time to explore Kiyomizu-dera Temple and its surroundings, and the food was quite good. The itinerary was well-paced for the limited time (however, this tour is not suitable for travelers who prefer to savor sights slowly or spend a lot of time taking photos, as the time allotted for Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine doesn't allow for walking the entire Senbon Torii path!). The tour bus was clean and tidy, and the ride was smooth and steady. I'm prone to motion sickness and usually sleep on buses, and I didn't wake up due to poor driving.

our tour guide was great. we walked through temples. old streets. and my wife actually saw a geisha. she .ever would of unless it was pointed out they ride in cabs lol. so keep your eyes peeled.

We are lucky to find this tour very last minute. The tour company reached us very soon after we made the booking and confirmed it. Tour guide is so nice preparing candy for us. Bus equipped with strong A/C and the ride is comfortable. Time for each spot is good enough. The trip worths more than what we paid.
