The one-day tour of Kyoto and Uji led by tour guide Theodore Chan was truly excellent! Mr. Chan is a wonderful person and very knowledgeable, sharing insights that we wouldn't have been able to experience on our own. He is very familiar with Japanese history and can communicate in both Chinese and English, explaining the historical significance behind the attractions. My family and I both felt that Mr. Chan's explanations were much better than just sightseeing on our own! The schedule was also perfectly arranged; the nostalgia of Kyoto and the tranquility of Uji added vibrant colors to our trip. We are super grateful for his guidance, and he even recommended his secret favorite foods and spots to us! We highly, highly recommend booking a one-day tour with Mr. Chan 🥹 We look forward to joining his group again in the future! We chose this program with an English-speaking guide. The guide took excellent care of us. On a day with heavy rain, the guide always informed us of every minute of delay via the LINE group. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed. The guide explained every tourist spot clearly and showed great care for all tour members. Amanda was organised and clear with her explanations. The tour is 40 minutes at Kinkaku-ji Temple, which is perfect timing, 2 hours and 40 minutes at the Kiyomizu-dera area (stairs and distractions will take a while but the duration is comfortable), and 1 hour and 40 minutes at Uji (very relaxing tour of Byudoin Temple and the Uji street). Overall, it was an enjoyable day tour suitable for adults and older children.

Cicy, our tour guide, did a great job making everyone feel comfortable and not left alone. We had so much fun exploring Kyoto, Kinkaku-ji, and Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and the Ujigawa River. It's a beautiful place for sightseeing and taking photos for memories. Cicy is such a lovely lady with a great personality. Highly recommended.

Booked this for convenience as it was my last day. I think the tour is evenly paced. Tour guide was friendly and even took photos of me as a solo traveller. I appreciate his effort to give some tips about each stop and gave us some great photo spots.

We are 4 in a group and we're so happy to have Mr.JUN as our tour guide (jolly, happy, and approachable man). He was not only a tour guide for us but also an entertainer and tried his very best to make the group happy. We want to give him 6 stars if possible.

We had an incredible day today! Our guide put so much heart and energy into looking after the whole group. Not only were they perfectly on time, but they also shared such deep insights into the area that kept us all fascinated. The best part was the atmosphere on the bus—He even singing songs in bus , which made the travel time fly by! he also gave everyone a souvenir to take home. It was such a kind gesture that made us all feel welcome. Five stars!
