The Kansai–Hiroshima Pass is definitely worth it. It includes the sightseeing bus that lets you hop on and off at Hiroshima's major attractions, which saved me both time and money while exploring the city. I do feel that one day isn't enough to fully experience Hiroshima, as there are many more places worth visiting. The pass also offers excellent value because it can be used on JR lines to travel to other destinations within its coverage

Redemption was smooth at the airport. Allowed patrons to hop on local bus, hiroden, and return boatride to Miyajima Island. Hiroshima is a beauty and truly historical. And it's packed with tourists. So, do start early (or late, depending on the locations) and enjoy!

Please note that in Fukuoka, you can only take the Shinkansen from Fukuoka to Kokura and cannot transfer to Kyushu JR.

This time, using the JR Pass Hiroshima & Yamaguchi Area Rail Pass, the overall experience was very satisfying. Starting from Hakata, it was very convenient to travel to Hiroshima, Miyajima, Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, Yuda Onsen, and other places, using both the Shinkansen and JR conventional lines. Using the rail pass not only saved on transportation costs but also made itinerary planning more flexible, eliminating the need to purchase tickets separately for each ride. My favorite parts of this trip were the Miyajima Great Torii, Rurikoji Temple Five-storied Pagoda, Yuda Onsen, and the Mojiko area. The transportation connections along the way were smooth, and station signs were clear, making it easy to navigate even for first-time visitors. If you are planning a 4-5 day independent trip around Hiroshima, Yamaguchi, and Fukuoka, I highly recommend purchasing this rail pass. It offers great value for money, is convenient to use, and provided a very pleasant railway travel experience.
