If you calculate the cost, it will exceed the price of the pass you paid. I highly recommend this pass if you plan to travel along this route; you're guaranteed to get your money's worth.

Starting from Hakata, it was very convenient to travel to Hiroshima, Miyajima, Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi, Yuda Onsen, and other places, using both the Shinkansen and JR conventional lines. Using the rail pass not only saved on transportation costs but also made itinerary planning more flexible, eliminating the need to purchase tickets separately for each ride. My favorite parts of this trip were the Miyajima Great Torii, Rurikoji Temple Five-storied Pagoda, Yuda Onsen, and the Mojiko area. The transportation connections along the way were smooth, and station signs were clear, making it easy to navigate even for first-time visitors. If you are planning a 4-5 day independent trip around Hiroshima, Yamaguchi, and Fukuoka, I highly recommend purchasing this rail pass. It offers great value for money, is convenient to use, and provided a very pleasant railway travel experience.

If you have enough stamina, this is definitely an excellent choice for a San'in-Sanyo trip, as you can reserve seats an unlimited number of times (the machine can only reserve same-day seats and only 6 times). Therefore, it is recommended to plan your travel itinerary and have the service center staff help you book all transportation after the current day, which will save a lot of time. 3. It is recommended to learn how to take local buses, as transportation in some Sanyo areas is not well-developed and requires combining luggage storage and buses. 4. This transportation pass is definitely worth buying. You can exchange your voucher at Hiroshima Station, and it allows you to reserve a seat on the Shinkansen six times using a machine. I visited Kurashiki, Onomichi, Fukuyama, Okunoshima, Kure, and Miyajima. For Miyajima, I only had to pay a 100 yen island tax, which was very convenient and practical.
