He is very attentive to the group members, carefully noticing everyone's needs, which makes people feel at ease. The introductions to the attractions are detailed and rich in content, including both historical backgrounds and interesting anecdotes, allowing everyone to be more engaged. The scenery along the way is beautiful, with mountains and rivers blending together, refreshing and uplifting. The entire trip was well-arranged with a suitable pace, allowing us to appreciate the beautiful scenery and enjoy the guide's wonderful explanations. The interaction among group members was good, and the atmosphere was harmonious. The trip was full of laughter and memories, leaving a deep impression and is highly recommended.

Maggie has been an excellent tour guide! This was my first time booking a group tour and I was hesitant at first but I’m glad I did. The tour was paced well, I did not feel rushed and I honestly felt that the allotted time for each location was sufficient enough to get a feel and have fun in each place. We were in Ine Bay from 10:15 AM to 10:55 AM, which included the boat ride. A tip that I would give if you’re not into feeding seagulls is to skip the boat ride and just explore the Ine Bay/boathouses on foot. The next stop was Amanohashidate and we were there for 2 hours, then the last stop was the Miyama thatched village, which was phenomenal. Make sure to try their milk!! 🫶🏼

On September 24th, we took a tour from Kyoto guided by MIKA, and it was a wonderful experience. The instructions for the meeting point and updates on our arrival in Kyoto were so smooth that the tour started right on time without any delays. During the journey, we were deeply moved by the guide's detailed explanations and her passionate dedication in carefully checking whether everyone wanted to ride the amusement park lift and take the boat cruise upon arrival. The tour composition and additional purchase options (such as the Amanohashidate amusement park lift and Ine Bay boat cruise) were not excessive, but rather essential elements for an efficient tour, making the full package very satisfying. The meal during the tour was also not bad in terms of saving time. Given the fairly tight schedule, we think it was much better to grab a quick bite rather than searching for a restaurant and waiting in line, allowing us to spend ample time at the observatory. Originally, we planned to rent a car and leave Kyoto early in the morning, but considering the difficulty of the driving routes (local roads with strict speed limits, railway crossings, and two-lane round-trip highway sections unlike Korea) and driving in an unfamiliar area, choosing the tour was a much better decision than a independent car rental trip. Based on this wonderful tour experience, we feel confident that next time we can enjoy a more leisurely trip to Amanohashidate and Ine using a rental car. Thanks to our guide MIKA, who enthusiastically responded to all our questions, recommended souvenirs, and suggested photo spots throughout the tour, it became a truly memorable experience. Although the schedule was tight due to the physical distance and road conditions, the tour itinerary was extremely well-organized and fulfilling.

Here are my honest and straightforward reviews of three major attractions in Shiga Prefecture (Shirakige Shrine, Biwako Terrace, La Collina Omihachiman). 1. Shirakige Shrine Perhaps because my expectations were high, I was left feeling a bit disappointed. The underwater torii gate is located across the road, making it dangerous to cross and difficult to appreciate properly from a distance. The shrine itself doesn't offer much to see, so it's suitable for a quick, passing visit. 2. Biwako Terrace This was definitely the highlight of my trip. The panoramic view of Lake Biwa from the terrace cafe was truly spectacular, and I was most satisfied with being able to relax and enjoy the open scenery. 3. La Collina Omihachiman There were too many people, and it was difficult to leisurely enjoy its unique atmosphere due to the crowds. The signature dessert, the confectionery, also tends to divide opinions on taste. However, the grass-roofed buildings and the garden's overall view were beautiful, making it an excellent spot for taking photos.

The day before the tour, an email will be sent with meeting information. We gathered at Exit 2 of Nihonbashi in the morning, where tour leader Momo was waiting for tourists with a sign. Before arriving at each attraction, the tour leader also provided explanations in multiple languages. Around Amanohashidate (cable car) sandbar, the water was clear, and the scenery was tranquil and beautiful. Ine no Funaya (boat tour to feed seagulls & eagles) was a special experience suitable for both adults and children, though it was a pity that the boathouses could only be viewed from a distance on the boat. Miyama-cho thatched-roof village was a quiet village with not much to do other than appreciate the local charm. This trip involved longer travel times, so the itinerary was a bit tight, but there were opportunities to rest along the way. Arranging a day trip by tour bus during a free and easy trip in Osaka was truly a wise decision!

Wonderful day trip! If you've walked a lot but still have so much to see, book this. We were able to visit three very different locations, some of which would be difficult to access on our own, and all at a very relaxed pace. The guide was lovely, welcoming, and shared perfect historical knowledge throughout.

The tour was very relaxing and the sceneries are beautiful. The boat activity was fun and interesting. We were given prawn crackers to eat and feed the seagulls and eagles. Our Tour Guide (Xu Jinfeng) did a good job in explaining the Japanese traditions to make us understand and appreciate their Japanese culture and rules even more. Tour is worth it!
