Taking a day tour departing from Osaka, we visited Katsuo-ji Temple, the Miyama thatched village, and Arashiyama all in one day. Although the itinerary was quite packed, each location had its own unique charm, and the overall arrangement went very smoothly. Our first stop was Katsuo-ji Temple, where the sea of Daruma dolls was truly adorable. You could see Daruma dolls of various sizes and expressions everywhere, giving the entire temple a very distinct character. Next, we headed to the Miyama thatched village. Seeing the traditional thatched-roof houses nestled against the backdrop of mountains and forests gave us a genuine taste of the Japanese countryside. Finally, we arrived in Arashiyama. The scenery along the bamboo grove path was still as stunning as ever. Strolling along and taking photos made us feel instantly immersed in Kyoto's leisurely atmosphere. What made this trip extra special was our wonderful tour guide, who was very friendly while introducing the sights along the way and patiently answered all our questions. This made it much easier for first-time visitors to enjoy these places without stress. Visiting three attractions in a single day was a bit rushed, but not having to figure out transportation on our own made the overall experience extremely enjoyable!

The tour guide was incredibly kind and explained everything in both Chinese and English, taking great care of us 👍🏻. Katsuo-ji Temple was absolutely delightful! 😍 You can see cute Daruma dolls everywhere, and you can also buy them at the gift shop to place wherever you like – it's a must-visit! Arashiyama is also great for exploring! I highly recommend trying the honey ice cream 🍦. Since each journey takes about an hour, you can catch up on sleep in the car 🤣. The overall itinerary doesn't include meal times, so everyone needs to find their own food.

She guided us through all three locations, especially at Katsuoji Temple, where she led us through collecting stamps at all six points, allowing us to successfully obtain the beautiful Daruma postcard. I highly recommend this day trip; it's a quick way to visit three places and hear professional explanations of the attractions from a knowledgeable guide.

During this trip, Tour Guide Kang provided detailed explanations of the itinerary planning, local history and culture, and unique cuisine, allowing first-time visitors to this unfamiliar place to quickly understand. Tour Guide Kang also introduced hidden gems in Japan along the way and handled issues with alertness. Although the trip was short, it felt incredibly rewarding, with rich experiences at every attraction.

Thanks to tour guide Kaneko's kindness and patience, this trip was incredibly heartwarming. He not only provided detailed historical and cultural explanations at each attraction, giving us a deeper understanding of the local area, but also demonstrated professional photography skills, proactively helping us capture many wonderful commemorative photos. With his meticulous guidance and assistance, language barriers were overcome, and we were able to fully enjoy the trip. We are truly grateful for tour guide Kaneko's professional service, which left us with precious and beautiful memories. We wholeheartedly recommend this excellent guide!

Had a great time, excellent service. It was a group tour but felt very free, with a reasonable schedule that wasn't rushed, allowing ample free time at each stop. The Ine Boathouses were truly peaceful and full of life, and Miyama was more pristine than I imagined. Great day tour from Osaka and Kyoto. The itinerary was well organised and covered beautiful countryside spots without feeling rushed. The guide was clear, helpful and kept the group on schedule. The transfer was comfortable, and the tour included many toilet breaks throughout the itinerary, which made the journey much easier. Miyama was peaceful and scenic, with good photo opportunities and a nice local atmosphere. The trip to Katsuo-ji Temple was fantastic overall. The children had a great time collecting Daruma stamps, and I saw the beautiful photos of Katsuo-ji in spring, summer, autumn, and winter on display, which I'm sharing for everyone's reference. It's a highly recommended itinerary.
