A fantastic experience! We got to visit three Kyoto attractions all at once. The meeting point was easy to find, and we departed right on time. Both the tour guide and driver were very polite and friendly, explaining Japanese culture and history to us. Overall, this trip was well worth it. Next time I visit Osaka, I will definitely sign up again! 👍👍👍🇯🇵⛩️
Our tour guide, Yuzu, provided incredibly detailed and vivid explanations, and shared many interesting local stories. She was also very thoughtful in helping us take photos to remember our trip. Even when we didn't book meals, she enthusiastically recommended delicious restaurants. The overall service was very comprehensive, and the travel experience was extremely pleasant. Katsuo-ji Temple, with its abundance of Daruma dolls, was very eye-catching and interesting, creating a unique atmosphere. Even just the streets surrounding Kiyomizu-dera Temple were great for browsing. Remember to set aside some time to get a Goshuin (temple stamp) inside the temple; it's a wonderful souvenir. The ancient and picturesque scenery of Arashiyama was breathtaking. Taking a rickshaw deep into the secret bamboo forest paths was truly an experience worth having!
Thank you to tour guide Xiao Zhao for the explanation. Joining a one-day tour is great because when you're tired from walking during a self-guided trip, you can briefly rest in the car, and then get off to explore and recharge. Kyoto summers are really hot, so being able to enjoy the air conditioning in the car until we reach our destination is wonderful! I will choose this again next time!
This time, I took my elders and children on a trip, and I was worried it might be too tiring, but it turned out to be okay. There was actually plenty of time at Katsuo-ji Temple. I was initially worried that the elders wouldn't be able to finish, but we even had time to shop! Kiyomizu-dera Temple felt a bit rushed, but if you just go up to worship and have a small snack, there's still enough time. We just skipped Ninen-zaka and Sannen-zaka. I had originally planned to stay in the car at Arashiyama so the elders could rest, as they were tired from the first two temples. However, it turned out we could actually get out and walk, but since we didn't like the rain, we ultimately chose to stay in the car. The director (Rina Utsumi 🍒) and the driver were also very kind. This is my second time joining this kind of tour. It's great to join such a tour during a free-and-easy trip to save the inconvenience of taking public transport, and you can comfortably sleep in the car 💤 without worrying about missing your stop.
The timing and time allocation were just right. The guide was friendly and took care of us along the way. It was an enjoyable and relaxing trip.
The day trip was very enjoyable and our tour guide was very familiar with the history of Japan. Now we know a lot more about the background of the area we visited.
Highly recommended! You can visit three must-see Kyoto attractions in one day.
It was a very fulfilling day trip with good time management. We could spend about 2 hours at each attraction, so it wasn't too rushed. Our tour guide, Ms. Xie, was very kind and recommended many delicious places. Katsuo-ji Temple, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and Arashiyama are all worth visiting. Highly recommended!
The itinerary was excellent, and the driver drove very smoothly and safely. 😂 It was great, and I will bring my family to travel again next time because we had a lot of fun and didn't get too tired.
The meeting point was easy to find, and the tour guide spoke Chinese. The recommended photo spots and food were excellent. Most importantly, it saved time and effort, and being able to sleep on the bus after the tour was fantastic! 👍
