The driver was very kind and helpful. She gave great descriptions of where to go, despite the language barrier for myself and others in the group. Communication was clear via wechat which meant we were on time to see all attractions on the itinerary. She provided warm jackets so we were comfortable exploring in the mountains. Really enjoyed this tour and would recommend for anyone who wants to see Yulong Mountain!

A one-day tour of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain offers an excellent experience. The towering and sacred snow peaks, along with the crystal-clear waters of Blue Moon Valley, make every photo opportunity stunning. The itinerary is well-paced, and the natural scenery is incredibly breathtaking. This is a must-visit spot when in Lijiang, and I highly recommend it.

I solo-traveled across Yunnan—Kunming, Dali, Lijiang & Shangri-La—and as someone with limited Mandarin knowledge and zero bandwidth to plan an itinerary, booking this trip through Klook was the absolute best decision! ​They took care of everything from end to end: seamless, on-time pick-ups & drop-offs, train, admissions & hotel booking . I appreciated the dedicated WeChat group coordination, where YiAn provided helpful updates on the weather & timely reminders for big activities like heading up to Shangri-La or visiting Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Stripping away all the logistical stress lifted a massive mental load, allowing me to truly rest, recharge, & enjoy what was a much-needed break. ​I want to offer a very special commendation to Master Yang, who was my driver for the leg of the trip from Dali to Shangri-La. He went far and beyond his duties as a driver, seamlessly stepping in as an incredible local guide who introduced me to experiences I never would have discovered on my own.

My first time booking a private customized 5-day tour to Shangri-La, Yunnan with Klook was an absolutely amazing experience! Because I really wanted to visit Lugu Lake, the tour designer not only planned a super reasonable itinerary but also specifically selected hotels and activities that perfectly matched my needs. Our driver, Mr. Zhang, was very reliable, driving steadily and knowing the roads well, making us feel completely safe throughout the trip. The most stunning part was the hike through the Baima Snow Mountain Forest Ranch. Our guide took us to his family's ranch, where the meadows and wildflowers beneath the snow-capped mountains were incredibly beautiful, even in the rain. I'll definitely go back for a second visit. The accommodations also exceeded my expectations. The newly added hotels, "Bandu" and "Qianshanji," were fantastic. Whether it was the design, comfort, or service, they truly impressed me. I'll likely choose Klook's private tours again next time!

Had a really smooth and well-coordinated trip 👏 Highly Recommended! From the start, Xiaozhou managed everything efficiently—clear itinerary details and even arranged hotel pickup for a small additional fee (60 yuan), which made things more convenient. The day before the trip, the driver/guide Xie Shou followed up with very clear instructions. Pickup was punctual at 5:35am. We were especially impressed that the team secured early tickets to ascend Yulong Snow Mountain by 7:30am (up to 4,506m). We descended by 8:30am—the higher climb to 4,680m was closed due to heavy snow the day before, making conditions slippery and unsafe. Next stop was Blue Moon Valley—transfer was seamless, we arrived around 9:20am, spending about an hour. After that, lunch was provided (simple pork hotpot with rice and vegetables). It was decent, though there’s definitely room for improvement. We then headed to the Impression Lijiang at 1:30pm, which wrapped up the experience nicely before returning to the hotel around 3:30pm.

The seating arrangement in the VIP area was excellent, with complimentary sun hats and bottled water provided before entry. The performance, designed by Zhang Yimou, featured performers in ethnic minority costumes, creating a beautiful spectacle. The only downside is that it's a matter of luck, as it's an open-air theater, and a heavy rain would significantly detract from the experience.

The whole day was a delight with the assigned driver. We went during 火把节. Everywhere is crowded with vehicles. Despite that, the driver and us managed to br flexible and complete the day tour happily!

recommended tour. the basic meal pack consists of a bun, banana and fruit and pepsi. we stopped by 3 photo spots on the way. at zhanglaoshi rest stop, we changed to a smaller car and drove to the halfway house area. then we started the 6.8km hike (3.2km up and 3.6km downhill). the driver is also the tour guide, my tour guide was very professional and helpful. i was inexperienced in hiking mountain paths and needed extra assistance and he was there to assist me on the downhill section. important to note that for people with no hiking experience, the downhill path is rather scary as there are no barriers and the path is filled with rocks. this middle gorge route also does not include the upper gorge, so you won't be able to get the "iconic" tiger gorge photo. pick this route only if you are interested in the experience of hiking haba mountain. the hike takes around 2-3h depending on your speed and experience.

Very nice tour. Not rushed. Just a steady pace for us to savor everything. Best day was the first day where we get to do a light hike and go mushroom picking. The weather was quite hot in the summer but nights were cool. Unfortunately the last day we didn't get to view the sunrise over Meili Mountains due to rain and fog. Anyhow big thanks to our excellent guide YiXiLaMu. Excellent driving and helpful in every way.
