The Alishan cruise-style shuttle bus returns to the same drop-off point as the outbound journey, and the bus arrived on time. The scenery on the return journey was beautiful. The tour guide no longer repeated introductions to Chiayi and Alishan's local history and customs, or the scenery along the way. Instead, they focused on the two stops on the return trip: Fenqihu and the Tsou Cultural Creative Park, while also discussing the history and customs of Taiwan's indigenous people. Unfortunately, we encountered traffic congestion along the way, so we could only stay at the Tsou Cultural Creative Park for five minutes instead of the planned half-hour; it was more of a drive-by. The fare included a free donut at Fenqihu, which many tourists queued to buy, but it tasted only average. In contrast, the soft-serve ice cream sold in the Fenqihu garage was delicious. Compared to taking the train or public bus to Alishan, this cruise-style shuttle bus is an excellent alternative.

The bus to Alishan departed punctually from Chiayi Train Station, picking us up. The boarding process was simple, and the bus seats were comfortable. The onboard guide narrated the local history and scenery of Chiayi and Alishan along the way. On the same day, because there were tourists from India, the guide briefly repeated the information in English. The scenery along the bus journey was beautiful, and we even saw a sea of clouds. Midway through the trip, the bus allowed everyone to stop at Xiding to walk a section of the Eryanping Trail, which involves climbing stairs. Due to time constraints, we only walked the first section of the tea plantation trail before returning. The bus arrived punctually at Alishan National Forest Recreation Area. Compared to taking the train or public bus to Alishan, this cruise-style shuttle bus was an excellent experience.

The tour bus departed on time. Jack, our tour guide, was at the meeting point even before the bus arrived. Jack took us to pick up the free donut. Recommended.

The bus is spacious and on time. We stop at Fenqihu, which is a nice old street to visit, and the famous lunchbox is delicious. We also have time to visit the Train Display, an interesting exhibition about the Alishan antique trains. The tour guide is very friendly and shares a lot of information about Tainan food, as it is her hometown.

The polar bear statue in front of the station was being cleaned. Our guide, Jack, was very kind and explained everything clearly. We stopped at Er Yan Ping, but due to time constraints, we could only walk a short distance before heading back. The itinerary was ideal; there was no need to squeeze onto a public bus, and luggage could be stored in the luggage compartment, which was very convenient. If I visit Alishan again, I will definitely book this tour again.

Convenient. The staff on-site were from Lion Travel, and the vehicle was also from Lion Travel. Overall, it was a smooth trip. It's a pity that the stop at Fenqihu was only one hour. The Chukou rest stop was just for using the restroom; there was no time to look around.
