Seisoka (青草窠), Restaurante Kaiseki com 2 Estrelas Michelin em Tóquio

I had the lunch set menu that day, and I was the only customer. The space was very bright, and I sat right in the middle of the counter. However, there was no chef in front of me, and there was no music at all. The staff who served me were very polite, but their English wasn't very good, so communication was a bit difficult. After being seated, I asked if there were any drinks. The server asked if I wanted sake or beer, and I chose sake. The server kindly said "okay" and then directly brought me a carafe without first introducing or confirming the brand or flavor of the sake. The food was delicious, with exquisite plating and thoughtful seasoning. It's a pity that the atmosphere was a bit awkward.

The taste is sweet and refreshing, and the staff are very attentive, explaining the dishes in English. If you order a drink, you'll need to pay the difference, so it's best to ask for the price before ordering.

The vegetarian kaiseki we got for lunch was spectacular. Everything was beautifully prepared and very tasty. We had a difficult time finding the place as we didn’t read Kanji.

This is definitely a solid Michelin-starred experience. The food was excellent from starter to main course. The dessert was nice but could be improved.

As foreigners, we couldn't fully appreciate the elaborate arrangement and design of their food, and the staff didn't explain much, which was a bit of a shame. The tableware was very beautiful.
