Aula de Culinária em Ubud com Visita à Floresta dos Macacos e Terraço de Arroz

I was with Guide Butu. It was absolutely fulfilling and fun! I signed up alone and was worried it might be awkward or difficult, but there was no need to worry! He was great at striking up conversations, informing me of what I needed, and even had the thoughtfulness to lend me an umbrella when it poured. The tour itinerary was: visiting a local market and a cooking class (the guide only drove me to the location, and I proceeded with the teacher and other students. I ended up making more diverse dishes than I had in Korea, which was much more fulfilling!) - Tegalalang Rice Terraces (the guide went in with me, explaining different types of rice, how the irrigation system works, and even took photos!) - Coffee Plantation (when I mentioned I hadn't tried Luwak coffee, he took me there, saying it was nearby, even though it wasn't on the original itinerary! Here, there was a separate guide who explained things, and I bought a cup of Luwak coffee before leaving!) - Monkey Forest (he just dropped me off, and I went in and came out alone). This is how it went. It was fulfilling and fun, and it was even better because I was able to resolve all my questions while traveling alone! If you're wondering what to do in Ubud, I highly recommend it!

What an amazing day! My family and I had a fabulous day being driven around by our fantastic driver Wayan, he was full of information and happy to answer my hundreds of questions. The cooking class was absolutely wonderful and in the middle of rice paddies, it couldn’t have been more perfect! The food was delicious and the class was very informative and 100% hands on. The monkey forest was so much fun and to have Wayan walk us around and look after us was so great. The rice terrace was an absolute dream, it’s such an unbelievably beautiful place and thanks to our driver we have some gorgeous photos. I would highly recommend this tour and our driver.

We had an amazing time on this trip! Our driver Otto was great company; knowledgeable and had fun with our kids. The cooking class was excellent, the monkey forest was good fun and the rice fields were just beautiful. If you want to go on the swings at the rice fields to get some photos it gets you a brilliant pic but is pricey. The only thing about the trip that could be better was the cooking class states it is for all ages, but we had a 6 and 8 year old with us and our youngest struggled to see sometimes. We had to pick her up a lot so a small step would be useful for other families with small children.

Darma was our driver for the day and he was fab. An early start to the morning market to see where food was purchased for our cooking class. We drove a little distance from that point to the cooking class location which had rice fields surrounding it. We were greeted with a gingery drink which was a lovely touch. We made so many Indonesian dishes, was great to see how to prep these too. We all loved it including my 11year old daughter. We skipped the rice terraces as we did that the previous day and ended our day at Ubud Monkey forest. Darma advised us these monkeys were better behaved until the ones in Uluwatu and that is because they are fed regularly by the zoo wardens- such a beautiful jungle to walk around in.

Wayan, nuestro conductor y guía, ¡fue maravilloso! Llegó a tiempo, se tomó el tiempo de explicarnos la cultura durante el trayecto y se adaptó a nuestras peticiones. Nos gustó especialmente cómo se esforzó por ayudarnos a encontrar medicamentos después del tour, ya que mi esposo no se sentía bien. ¡La clase de cocina también fue divertida y valió la pena!

What a wonderful experience! Darma, the driver, picked us up at the hotel lobby as confirmed earlier via WhatsApp. The cooking class was awesome and fun with a group of people from all over the globe. The food was amazing! Following this very local experience, we headed to the rice fields and monkey forest, some of the must-sees in Ubud. The day was filled with both local and tourist-must experiences, a good combination. Darma was also so kind to share lots of local culture and was super knowledgeable. I learned so much that I wouldn't have from a tour book. Thank you, Darma! Highly recommended!

Fue una experiencia fantástica aprender a cocinar con los lugareños. El conductor Riko fue excelente llevándonos a todas partes, guiándonos a cada lugar y tomando fotos. Lo recomendaré encarecidamente a nuestros amigos y familiares para que utilicen sus servicios.

Wonderful day trip to Ubud for the market tour and cooking class. Our driver, Saur, was prompt for pick up, helped us take photos, and brought us around the rice fields. Thanks for the warm hospitality and lovely time in Bali.

Amazing experience, we had fun the entire day with our driver, Putu. The cooking class was amazing and tasty, the rice fields were breathtaking and the monkey forest was beautiful, we definitely recommend, also he was very friendly and his English was very good. Overall 10/10 experience.
