Aula de Culinária na Plataran Ubud

Chef Budi was great company and informative on all things Bali. He and his assistant (I'm so sorry I now forget her name) were more than happy to answer all my questions on Balinese culture. He showed me how to make the Balinese paste, Chicken Sate, crepes and more. He also taught me how to use the peel of a tomato to make a very cute flower. In addition, the setting of the cooking class is beautiful under a traditional Balinese roof in the middle of rice fields. I recommend anyone to go to this cooking class.

This activity is the highlight of our Bali vacation. The Plantaran cooking class is very fancy and my family loved and enjoyed this activity. We were welcomed with coffee/tea snacks after the market tour and were given fresh coconut before we started cooking. Very happy that I purchased this activity at Plantaran Hotel rather than other places; you’ll get more than what you paid for. It's better to pay a little bit more if you will get this kind of ambiance and special treatment. Do yourself a favor and don’t hesitate to book this one.

I joined a cooking class, and it was an amazing experience. We visited the market at 8 am, where everything was explained, especially about the local ingredients. After returning to the hotel, I enjoyed a welcome drink before starting the class. Thanks to Chef Budi and Arik, the whole experience was so fun and relaxed. He also took great pics for me. If you’re visiting Ubud, this is definitely a class you shouldn’t miss:)

Facile pour les débutants en cuisine, bien guidé par le personnel tout au long du processus. Ils vous laissent goûter la nourriture pendant le processus et ajuster la saveur.

Arrived at the hotel by 8 AM. We spent about 30 minutes exploring Ubud Market with a brief explanation. Then, we were given complimentary coffee or tea and bread, so we rested for about an hour before starting the class. The place was incredibly clean, and even though it was a solo class, they guided me well without any awkwardness 😇 Many thanks to Wika & Budi who helped with the class 🙏 They are young, but they speak English better than me and are so cute haha. I also loved that they took beautiful photos and videos for me~ The process of making the food myself was so much fun, and the finished dishes were incredibly delicious!! The class ended earlier than expected (around 11:30 AM), so I explored the hotel a bit before returning to my accommodation ☺️ I think I'll miss the food I made even after returning to Korea 😂 It was a delightful experience!!

It was a very satisfying class. The hygiene was excellent, and cooking while enjoying the rice field view was truly healing. Making Balinese food myself helped me learn more about Bali, which was great. It's a must-do experience if you come to Ubud. Highly, highly recommended!

The instructions were clear, and the hands-on approach allowed my parents to grasp new techniques effortlessly. The quality of ingredients was exceptional, enhancing the overall learning process. The class had a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend to anyone looking to enhance their culinary skills!

우붓 여행 중 가장 좋은 순간이었어요. 오전 8시에 여행객들은 갈 수 없는 전통시장 관광을 시작으로 넓은 논밭에 있는 야외주방에서 새 소리를 들으며(주변에 양, 칠면조 등 동물도 있음) 현지음식을 만들어 먹을 수 있습니다. 쉐프인 Budi와 Bayu 도 매우 친절하고 재미있어요. 우리 커플 2인만의 수업으로 충분히 값어치를 한다고 생각해요. 강력추천합니다.

전통시장투어부터 참여했습니다. 발리의 전통시장을보며 식재료들과 발리의 문화에 대해 알아가는 시간이 좋았습니다. 요리는 4가지를 했는데, 과정도 즐거웠고 맛있고 좋았습니다. 선생님도 친절하고 자세히 알려주셨고, 요리과정도 어렵지않아 쉽게 따라할 수 있었습니다. 플라타란 호텔의 아름다운 모습 또한 요리클래스의 큰 즐거움이었습니다. 우붓에서 요리 클래스 계획이 있다면 추천드립니다.
