Aula de Culinária Balinesa no Restaurante Kumbuh Ubud

It was a lovely experience that we got to learn and actually cook traditional Balinese dishes from meal to dessert! It was also very engaging as we smelled and tasted all the complete ingredients they have. Our chefs are experts at what they do, but were also very friendly and fun to be with! Additionally, the Kumbuh place is very nice and relaxing. Will definitely recommend doing this activity!

The cooking class was led by the handsome chef Risma, who explained and demonstrated everything. The atmosphere was great, and his explanations were easy to understand, making it very simple for us to follow the lesson. After completing the class, we even received a certificate, which left a deep impression!

It was a great opportunity to directly see, prepare, and even cook with spices from Bali and Indonesia. They also give out certificates, so I think children would enjoy it too.

I highly recommend this to anyone, especially children aged 3 and above who are interested in cooking, as well as adults. It was a truly kind and high-quality class. The children experienced and tasted vegetables, turmeric, and spices, all of which they prepared themselves. It was also great that our photos were included on the certificate given at the end. Of course, pick-up and drop-off must be requested immediately when you receive a message via WhatsApp.

The chef was kind, and it was an enjoyable class. I was also happy to receive a certificate. However, I never received any contact via WhatsApp, so I waited at Coco Supermarket for over 30 minutes before taking a taxi to the resort. I'm curious why the pickup service wasn't provided at Coco Mart, contrary to the information given. Because of this, I only arrived at the restaurant at 11:20 AM and wasn't able to receive welcome tea or other amenities. I contacted Klook in advance, but they only provided the resort's phone number and email. As a foreigner, I couldn't make a call, and the email I sent bounced back.

The supplier needs to improve their order confirmation process. Based on previous comments, it seems this isn't the first time an order has been overlooked. Our order specified pickup at Coco Supermarket, but there was no driver. After taking a taxi to the hotel, the hotel informed us that the department responsible for receiving emails had only just found the order and hadn't prepared the materials, asking us to return tomorrow. Unfortunately, we were flying out that very night, so this arrangement was completely unreasonable. In the end, the restaurant supervisor responded quickly, immediately prepared the materials, and we were able to attend the class after a 1-hour wait. This is commendable!
