What a wonderful experience to truly immerse yourself in Bali’s culture. The seats fill up very quickly, so make sure to get there early to secure a good spot; otherwise, your view might be obstructed. The audience participation and friendly elements of the show really created a great atmosphere while still allowing for a rich cultural experience.

I highly recommend this rather than going to Kecak in Melasti Beach. This place is so amazing! I mean, how they perform, the dancers are great. I had goosebumps throughout the show. It was an amazing experience! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

This performance is similar to Korea's Madangnori, inspired by local myths. You can comfortably learn about exotic local myths through pamphlets, and the traditional performance is also worth seeing. Although fire is used, the audience is kept at a safe distance. This is a must-see for anyone who wants to experience a traditional performance by a professional dance team in a vivid, immersive way.

Ease of booking with Klook: Since Uluwatu Temple is far, it was great to see the Kecak dance in Ubud. The person playing Hanuman was very entertaining. There's a restaurant right in front, so I think it's a good idea to arrive early, have dinner, and wait.

Goosebumps! There was something about the chant that completely drew us in. We felt hooked, moved, and almost enchanted by its rhythm and energy. It stirred something deep inside us—both calming and emotional at the same time. For a moment, I simply let myself get lost in the sound.

A wonderful performance! I recommend looking up the story synopsis online before you go; it will help you get into the story better. Experiencing local music and performances, and seeing different cultural elements, is very worthwhile! I suggest arriving early to get front-row seats. The only downside, I felt, was that the audience members in front and behind me kept talking, and there were people smoking nearby, which slightly diminished the overall viewing experience. However, this is not an issue with the performance itself. Rather, I believe that quiet appreciation from the audience is a sign of respect for cultural performers!

It was a mysterious, fantastical, and incredibly interesting experience! The one-hour dance featured men around a fire, with undulating singing that continued endlessly. Personally, I preferred this to the palace dance. If you want to see traditional performing arts in Ubud, this is an absolute must-see!

Incredible show. It's very interesting for learning about Balinese culture. It lasts an hour and is in a temple a 10-minute walk from the center of Ubud.
