Taupo Tandem Skydiving

What better way to celebrate turning a year older (and none the wiser)!! I had the best skydiving partner in Nathan Purver who made a jump from 12000 ft high up in the air seem like a nice, leisurely stroll in the garden. My nerves, which would have otherwise been ballistic, were relaxed AF to say the least, all thanks to Nathan who was as cool as the wind up there! The entire team was extremely nice, warm and friendly who took us through the whole process like day 1 of being kindergarteners. Cannot recommend this place enough.

instructor: Travis Funnell was friendly and made me feel at ease while jumping with him! safety: it wasn’t my first time skydiving but they are super safe! lots of checks in place and even have an oxygen mask as you go higher up in altitude experience: 10/10. would do it again in a heartbeat!

Booking is hassle-free, doesn't include video or photo shooting but can purchase onsite with a free t-shirt. We took the free-cam video for 200NZD/pax. We were 30mins late than the booking time due to traffic but it's fine. Upon arrival, we were asked to fill up our personal data. We declared for severe motion sickness but the master still spins us in the sky, one of my friends even vomited during the dive, it's fine, just ask for a vomit bag by tapping on the master's leg. The video and pictures were fast, they were sent via email in the evening. 👍👍

It was a wonderful experience! The staff was warm and friendly. They were very welcoming and explained everything in detail and ensured that you understood fully. The tandem masters were experts and they were very reassuring. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Overall, it was a good experience. The pick-up vehicle was a party van, haha. All the staff were professional and nice.

Absolutely unreal experience! Even being scared of heights, I felt completely safe and secure jumping from 15,000ft in the air. Such an adrenaline rush and easily one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. 10/10 experience — highly recommend!

The best experience I’ve ever had. The staffs were very friendly and helpful too. All were very professional. Photos and videos weren’t included, 300nzd if you want both photos and videos for the whole experience but if you have the budget I’d say go for it cause it was totally worth the money! Got free tshirt too and skydiving cert.
