Cruzeiro de Meio Dia para a Ilha Verde e a Barreira de Corais, partindo de Cairns

This half day trip was a great way to get out in the water and see some sea life. We primarily visited Cairns for a larger trip we booked on the reef, but this extra half day gave us some extra time snorkelling! Saw turtles on top of the water from the boat when we arrived, though weren’t lucky enough to see them under the water. Did see a ray, a reef shark, and plenty of fish! Team were kind and helpful to and from the island. It was nice to kick back with a beverage on the return.

The glass-bottom boat saw turtles, but the semi-submarine saw them much more clearly, though its enclosed space can easily cause seasickness. Overall, it was very worthwhile. Our whole family dislikes sun exposure and getting into the water, so this option was perfect for seeing the underwater world up close. The air conditioning on the boat was excellent, so we enjoyed the beautiful scenery without getting sunburnt or hot. We are very satisfied.

Booked 1 pm reef rocket boat and 2:15 pm glass bottom boat. After that, there was very little time on the island as we needed to return to the boat at 4 pm.

Since our children were small, we didn't snorkel but experienced the glass-bottom boat and semi-submarine. With the half-day course, we went straight from the glass-bottom boat to the semi-submarine, and then had about an hour of free time. The content was sufficient for our children's energy levels and we were satisfied, but to swim with coral reefs, tropical fish, and sea turtles, a full-day course would be needed as there isn't enough time. All explanations were in English, and there were no Japanese-speaking staff, but the crew members were kind and listened carefully to my poor English, which was reassuring. There's only water and potato chips on the boat, so I recommend bringing bread or light snacks! The coast of Cairns is murky, so it's worth going out to Green Island for the experience!

check in was easy and the boat departed on time. weather was perfect and we were back on schedule time

It was a short tour. The snorkeling was a bit disappointing, so I recommend just going on the semi-submarine and buying a ticket for the transfer.

It was a morning-only tour. The return boat departed Green Island at 11:50 AM. We were able to board directly by having our names checked at the pier for both the outbound and return journeys, so there was no need to gather at the port beforehand. It was great to make efficient use of our time. Since it was a short trip, the glass-bottom boat was a good choice.

The Great Barrier Reef was beautiful after all. I hadn't intended to swim at first, but after seeing the white sandy beach, I swam with the swimsuit I had brought just in case. I also participated in a glass-bottom boat tour. The island was quite far, and the high-speed boat was fast.

Great escape to Green Island. staff was very helpful during check in. Glass bottom boat was great choice and experience. Manage to catch a crocodile show too. It was a great tour .
