Since we stayed at a hotel next to the ferry terminal, we easily walked to the ticket exchange counter! However, as there are several shipping companies that go to Fitzroy Island, you must carefully confirm which one you booked with.

you collect the equipment hire with you before boarding the jet, life jacket was very helpful for non or weak swimmer. you can start snokelling right after you get off the jet. we saw a sea turtle, the water glass boat can be skipped if you are already snorkelling

nice and fun activity. the guides were very welcoming and friendly! only sad part was that it was quite cloudy on that day and i couldnt get a tan in. for the snorkeling, the corals we saw were literally all dead and we had to constantly adjust our goggles as water kept leaking in despite it already being the tightest setting. very disappointing as i expected to see beautiful corals/fishes but the waters were all murky with filled with dead corals

Good scenery and nice weather. The tour guides Jimmy and Agatha for glass boat is professional and nice. The lunch box from Foxy's bar was tasty.

Nice island getaway with a relaxing vibe We joined a day trip to Fitzroy Island and overall had a nice experience. The boat ride from the marina took about 45 minutes, which was quite manageable. The weather in the days before our trip had been rainy, so the guide let us know in advance that the water might not be very clear. Even so, it was still enjoyable to spend time on the island and go into the water. The beach we were at had corals instead of soft sand, so it was a bit harder and more slippery to walk on, something visitors may want to be prepared for. We still managed to see a few fishes and corals while snorkelling. Overall, it was a relaxing and pleasant day trip, especially if you want to enjoy island scenery and spend some time by the water. I’d recommend bringing suitable footwear for the coral beach and managing expectations depending on recent weather conditions.

Great experience onboard and on the island. Best to do a full day tour to ensure you have ample time to enjoy the island and snorkeling. the lunch box was good and enough to enjoy and keep you full throughout the day.

We enjoyed the cruise and the glass bottom tour was mind-blowing, we saw so many corals, but lunch was not suitable for us. If you are a vegetarian and from India, I would recommend you pack your own lunch.

It's best when the weather is good. There are few people, so you can relax. Renting snorkeling gear and a wetsuit on the island is very expensive, about $50 for both. It's recommended to choose a tour that includes them. I ended up not using them because I took my time. On the day of the tour, I received an email around 6 AM saying the departure time would be delayed, so we left about an hour late. The return trip was also delayed by an hour, so plan your schedule with plenty of buffer time. To get to Nudey Beach, you walk through the mountains for about 20 minutes. Flip-flops are fine, but it might be a bit difficult for small children. The beach is made of coral, so be careful as it can hurt your feet. It seems that jellyfish are already present in late October. There are few restaurants, so it might be a good idea to bring your own lunch and food. Everything on the island was expensive. However, I made some good memories. Thank you.
