Our tour was delayed by an hour because of bad weather (quite unseasonal, considering winter is supposed to be the "dry season"), but honestly they made the right call! We had a brief window of okay weather and good visibility over the reefs. The pilot Jesse was very nice and cheerful; he made me sit beside him seeing that I was travelling solo, and honestly it made the experience so much better! Also, that was one of the smoothest landings I've ever experienced for an aircraft; I didn't even notice we were already on wheels on the runway. Highly recommend this tour! But allow some flexibility in your schedule as it is a very weather-dependent activity: keep an eye on the forecast 2-3 days before locking in a date.

The visibility from the plane was incredible. However, for me, 40 minutes was not enough. I needed more time to immerse myself in the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef. Another drawback of taking a small plane was that the airplane wing occasionally blocked my view.

It was good that it proceeded according to schedule. The pilot was also friendly, and although the weather was a bit disappointing, it was good otherwise. The plane did look a bit old.

The entire helicopter experience was excellent! The driver arrived on time at the hotel for pickup, and the pilot provided detailed explanations about the sights and safety. The pilot's flying skills were superb. Highly recommended!

I was lucky enough to ride in the co-pilot's seat of a Cessna, even though I was traveling alone and in an odd-numbered group! I was truly delighted. On the day, the flight departure time was delayed due to the previous group being late, but it wasn't a problem. It was one of the best and most valuable experiences of this trip. I'm not very fluent in English, so I was worried about being able to meet at the hotel for pickup. I had booked it so I could go directly from the airport on the morning of my arrival from Japan, but it seemed fine as there was a Japanese staff member who could speak English handling the transfers. They also dropped me off at my desired location on the way back. It seems there were also staff members who could speak Chinese, so I think it's fine even for those who are anxious about language. Thank you very much, kind staff.

Kommunikationen med företaget var tydlig och effektiv. Flygningen var fantastisk, om än lite varm i planet. Hannah, vår pilot, var engagerande och mycket kunnig om området, och gav bra förslag på vad vi kunde göra om vi hade ledig tid.

Hotel pick-up was prompt, arriving at the hangar minutes later to receive a safety brief. Shorty afterwards we were flying over the Great Barrier Reef. The flight was is an unparalleled experience, that offered a breathtaking perspective of one of the world's natural wonders. Our pilot Carola, was magnificent and provided awesome commentary. The Great Barrier Reef flight promises awe-inspiring moments and memories that will last a lifetime so do not miss this tour!
