first hiking with camping experience for the kids! they were 9 and 11 years old. they have done very well. our guide Putu was very helpful and took good care of the kids. beautiful sceneries! managed to see sunset and sunrise. both were marvellous

Kedua kalinya melakukan ini dalam setahun dan 100% akan melakukannya lagi. Mereka sangat baik untuk menjadwal ulang dalam waktu singkat karena cuaca dan kami mendapatkan Jery sebagai pemandu kami lagi yang berbicara bahasa Inggris dengan sangat baik dan membuat kami senyaman mungkin. Secara pribadi saya akan merekomendasikan melakukan ini daripada mendaki saat matahari terbit karena Anda juga bisa merasakan matahari terbenam dan menghabiskan malam yang dingin di puncak dalam tenda, dengan makanan yang disediakan dari warung di puncak. Anda bisa melihat Bima Sakti jika malam cerah. kami juga bisa menyewa jaket musim dingin seharga 50 ribu masing-masing karena kami tidak membawa apa pun. Sangat direkomendasikan!!

One of the best experiences we had. Our driver Putu, picked us up in our hotel and he was very understanding and accommodating despite us being late as we were still coming from the airport. As we reached Batur, that's where we met our guide, Jerry. He was approachable, addressed our needs, and was knowledgeable about the trek. The dinner served at the campsite was comforting, especially with the weather, which was then followed by a bonfire, which we didn't expect. This was followed by a simple breakfast during sunrise, a hot spring resort after the hike, and a coffee plantation before heading back to our hotel. Overall, we never regretted spending a night on Mt. Batur in a tent. It's definitely one for the books. The sunrise view on top was super worth it!

From pick up at the hotel to the stop over at coffee plantation was enjoyable. Our Bill gave good overview of Batur and dropped us off at basecamp. From there we met Jerry/Gerry our guide who led us on our track to our camp site. He was gracious enough to help carry my bag 😅. The hike up took us 2 hours and the hike down was about an hour. During the camping Jerry was a perfect host attending to our needs while we were at the top of the mountain. And not to forget he is an excellent photographer. Dinner was rice, fried chicken and vege soup and breakfast was fried indomie. The view of the mounting for the sunset and sunrise was breathless and it was quite an experienced. Btw, should you wanna hike, please use a proper shoes, as hiking down is very slippery. After the hike down the next day, Bill took us at the hot spring where we took a refreshing deep in the natural hot spring pool. Our verdict for this package - is worth every penny!!! So very exciting and enjoyable trip hike to Mount Batur.

Jerry, nuestro guía turístico, y Arya, nuestro conductor, son súper amables y serviciales. Este paquete de camping está muy subestimado en comparación con la típica caminata al amanecer. Comenzamos nuestra caminata alrededor de las 4:30 p.m., lo cual no hacía calor (la zona de la montaña es fría, hermano) y pudimos hacer muchas visitas turísticas. Nos tomó 1 hora y 35 minutos llegar a la cima. Si no fuera por las condiciones nubladas, también habríamos tenido una vista del atardecer. La cena fue preparada por los guías, y tuvimos una acogedora fogata con vino de arroz balinés y simplemente charlamos en la cima de la montaña. Las tiendas estaban equipadas con sacos de dormir y almohadas, ¡y era tan acogedor! Pudimos ver las estrellas y las luces del pueblo debajo de la montaña, fue increíble. Había otros dos grupos además del nuestro, un paquete realmente subestimado. A la mañana siguiente nos despertamos alrededor de las 5 a.m., ya que es cuando algunos excursionistas del amanecer habrían llegado. Solo tuvimos que asearnos un poco y reservar nuestro lugar para una buena vista del amanecer. Jerry nos ayudó a tomar muchas fotos, compartió historias con nosotros y Arya nos llevó a comprar bocadillos para nuestro viaje y nos recomendó un lugar para almorzar después de la caminata. Conducción excelente y segura. Lo recomiendo al 100%. Elegiría esto una y otra vez en lugar de la típica caminata al amanecer. Acampar al aire libre con una fogata bajo las estrellas en la cima de la montaña es el SUEÑO.

super lucky that the weather cleared up! recommend the sunset + sunrise over sunrise only because you get to enjoy the sunset view with very little people and the convenience to wake up to sunrise right outside your tent. the dinner was delicious, soup + ayam goreng! slightly pricier than sunrise but the (1) sunset (2) night sky full of stars (3) dinner (4) sunrise without hiking w a bunch of people/in the dark makes it worth every penny! check out the photos, no edits :)

After climbing the mountain, I was sweating and cold all over, but I got to eat a hot dinner just in time. This is a niche activity, so I think it's worth going. Not many Chinese people would choose this activity, but when you travel, you should choose places like this. If you're not physically fit or have medical conditions that prevent strenuous exercise, it's not recommended to come, as it requires a bit of a fitness base. Also, make sure to bring enough warm clothes. The weather in Bali in November might be cold for locals, but for me, it was very hot. After climbing up, I was completely soaked. It gets very cool at night on the mountaintop with the wind, so it's best to change clothes after reaching the top. The driver, Butu, was very kind. When he picked us up, he asked if we wanted to go to a coffee shop. He had already helped us book a table at a coffee shop when we finished soaking in the hot springs after camping. If you don't want to spend money on coffee, it's actually a free attraction worth visiting, with a great environment and a dedicated guide. Feel free to inquire if you have any questions.

Highly recommend this tour. It was my second time here. This time with 3 of my friends. Our guide Putu was very patient in helping all 4 of us girls to hike up and down Mount Batur. He even went out of the way to help us chop wood for campfire and made sticks for our marshmallow. He also helped us carry our bags. The 3 hours driver from Seminyak to here was also a pleasant ride, honest and safe driver. And we stopped for toilet breaks in between. It was overall a very memorable trip with the sunrise and sunset. The dinner was very hearty with chicken rice and vegetable soup.

What an experience! Would 1000% reccomend doing this camping compared to a simple trek up & down. We were collected from our hotel and taken to the starting point, where our amazing guide Putu then lead us on the approx 2 hour walk up the mountain. We had the option of a medium or steep route (so you can customise it to your level). When we reached the top, we had time to sit and admire the view with a few drinks before being served a really nice dinner (vegetable soup, chicken and rice). The view of the sunset was incredible, with only a few other groups present. They then descended, leaving us & our guide as the only ones at the top! We built a campfire and stargazed, pretty magical. We then slept in the tent that was already set up for us. We woke up about 5am, were provided with breakfast, a hot drink and blankets, and had a prime seat to watch the sunrise. Note - drinks at the top are 60,000, so either bring cash or your own. And bring some marshmallows for the campfire!

Der Fahrer war freundlich und der Reiseleiter war sehr lustig. Das Abendessen war auch sehr gut. Die Aussicht war wirklich, wirklich großartig. Ich war sehr beeindruckt! Bitte beachten Sie, dass es auf dem Berggipfel keine Toiletten gibt.
