Avaliações
I highly recommend this tour. We were staying outside the Old Quarter, and the worst part was the taxi ride to the Opera House. Once the tour started, Minh was very knowledgeable. He lives near Perfume Pagoda and conducts tours 7 days a week. If you have any questions, please ask him. The tour bus is comfortable, and the boat ride is relaxing. There are quite a few steps, but it's so worth it.
The vehicle was too small and cramped. I would have preferred a better car, even if it was a bit more expensive, but I booked it without knowing. The entire trip was exhausting. The guide's explanations were so long that I didn't have enough time to explore. The scenery was still nice, but this one trip was enough.
The tour is highly recommended. We were picked up from the hotel, then after more than an hour, we took a 10-minute electric car ride, a boat, a cable car, and did some walking. The boat ride was serene. We were the only ones on the river, apart from locals, in the morning, but met incoming tourists in the afternoon. The pagoda complex is worth the travel, especially the cave. We bought a couple of turtles to set free. Many shops were closed. Lunch was great. Our tour guide, David, is well-versed in the place's history and folk tales. Please note that the cable car is not included in the package. Please tip the boat lady; it's hard work.
Recently embarked on a mesmerizing Perfume Pagoda day trip from Hanoi. The boat ride(around 1hr 15mins) to the pagoda was serene, and exploring the complex provided a unique cultural experience. Seamless arrangements made the trip stress-free, leaving me with cherished memories of a day well spent.
Minn is our guide for this tour, he is very accommodating and very passionate about his hometown's culture and history. This tour is rich in history, culture, and beliefs. I admire how they preserve everything, and respect nature.
What a fantastic day trip! Our guide Minh is so knowledgeable, he grew up in the perfume pagoda village so knows everything there is to know. He was patient in explaining everything and the pagoda itself is a wonderfully tranquil place. We went out of season in November on a stunningly beautiful day with cloudless blue sky. The history of the pagoda is so rich. We very much enjoyed the epic journey to it (bus, electric cart, boat, walk).
This was a really enjoyable and well organised day trip. Our guide, Minh, was really friendly and helpful, and explained a lot of really interesting things about the sites we visited, his English is also great! The location itself is also beautiful, and we got a good amount of free time to look around each of the areas we visited - it didn’t feel rushed at all. All of the transfers went very smoothly as well. Would definitely recommend.
Beautiful views from up the mountain and inside the cave. Our guide, Ming, is a local there, and you can really feel that. He provided so much extra value with stories and explanations, so we enjoyed much more than just the views. We went just outside of festival time, so the place wasn't crowded at all. Do note that you will have to buy a cable car ticket as it is not included in the price; there's no way around it. There are many caves and temples on the compound, but we only saw the main ones, as seeing them all would require a multi-day trip.
I highly recommend the Perfume Pagoda tour. Our guide, Liam, was very passionate and knowledgeable. He took great care of each and every tour participant and even took photos for us. I had many conversations with him about traveling in Vietnam, and he offered a lot of helpful advice.
While popular tourist spots like Ha Long Bay, Trang An, and Tam Coc offer more scenic views for tourists, I felt this was less of a sightseeing tour and more of a journey to learn about Vietnamese Buddhist history. Our guide, Minh, explained everything very clearly, and since it was a weekday during the off-season with few people, we were able to relax and take our time. The reason it's not a perfect score is that everyone had to take an electric car from the tour bus parking lot to the boat pier, but this cost was not included in the tour price and had to be collected on-site, which was inconvenient. Some members of the same group had electric car and cable car fees included in their tour plan. I agree that the cable car should be an optional choice on-site, as some people might prefer to walk, but I questioned the on-site payment for the electric car, hence the 4-star rating.
Que bom saber
