Booked in advance, we arrived at Mount Cook Airport 45 minutes early for our INFLITE helicopter + ski plane tour. Upon entering the lobby, we went directly to the check-in counter on the right. Providing our voucher information, the staff quickly found our reservation. Next, our weight was taken. We were not allowed to bring bags, only our phones and sunglasses. After watching a safety video, the staff informed us of the boarding order (seating). Each helicopter, including the pilot, accommodates a total of 7 people. The ascent was very smooth, offering panoramic views of the valleys and mountains along the way. After approximately a 10-15 minute flight, we reached the summit, landing on the snow for photos. Afterwards, we descended by ski plane. During one point of descent, there was a brief sensation of weightlessness, and due to air currents, it was quite bumpy with a strong smell of diesel, which made me feel a bit airsick. However, we landed safely, and it was a fantastic experience overall!

You must join this tour when you visit Mt Cook! You can experience both a helicopter and a ski plane at the same time (go by helicopter and return by ski plane, or vice versa). It's a fantastic experience to land on the glacier, where we can touch and walk on the snow – truly enjoyable! Experience:

Super worth it, guys. You have to do this while you are at Mt Cook. The duration is nice enough, and you get to explore both heli and ski plane.

Although we couldn't take the snow plane due to weather issues, the helicopter landing on the glacier experience was still very worthwhile. There was no need to hike through snow or change equipment, making it easy and convenient. Before the activity, there was a detailed explanation in English, and for those who didn't understand English, there were simple picture explanations. While on the snow, I didn't see a rock mixed in with the snow, so I stepped into an empty space and got a minor scrape. Everyone, please be careful when walking on snow.

I originally booked a helicopter and a ski plane to land on the snow-capped mountains and glaciers, but due to bad weather, only the helicopter could land on the snow-capped mountains. Klook quickly refunded the price difference, and the service was excellent. The helicopter ride to the snow-capped mountains was an unforgettable experience, offering stunning views of the mountains and surrounding beautiful scenery from high above. Although a bit expensive, it was definitely worth the price and is a must-do activity when visiting New Zealand.

It's really worth experiencing. You can bring your phone up, remember to wear gloves and take more photos, or record your branch experience. It will be a wonderful and rare memory!

We booked our flight through Klook, including the pick-up and drop-off service at the Hermitage Hotel, and received confirmation directly from INFLITE. The day before our trip, we sent an email to reconfirm the schedule and they replied swiftly. We were assigned a ski plane to the Tasman Glacier and a helicopter for the return. Walking on the glacier with such stunning views was an amazing experience. Luckily, the weather was great and it wasn't too cold. The pilots were very kind and helpful, even taking many photos for us. This is highly recommended if you are staying at Mt. Cook; it’s a breathtaking way to enjoy the mountain scenery!

Incredihle views and amazing glacier and snoe experience!! Booking through Klook its not clear thst there is minimum numbers required ro take this trip - only noticed it after we made the booking. However, the staff contacted us and arranged alternatives promptly, they were very helpful and we still had an incredible experience! We ended up not riding the plane in the end, just the helicopter - but we werr there for the glacoer landing not the plane and it didnt disappoint!
