This was the best itinerary I had in Bali! Spending a little more money for the double fun of reaching the summit and a jeep ride was absolutely worth it! My guide, Gus Conk, is not only a hiking professional but also the best photographer! I was luckier than other hikers because I got more stunning panoramic views and beautiful portraits perfect for Instagram. Other hikers even asked Gus Conk to take photos for them, which shows how professional he is! My jeep driver, Adi, was also very professional; he drove steadily and was very patient in helping with photos! I truly recommend this to anyone who can handle a bit of mountain trail, try the 40-minute summit climb combined with the black lava experience! Be careful on the way down as the rocks can be slippery, but the ascent isn't difficult, probably on par with the difficulty of a suburban mountain in Taiwan.

Highly, highly recommend the Batur Sunrise Jeep tour with 30-minute hike to summit add-on. The whole experience was so amazing. Just want to say a very big thank you to our driver Yongki, our Jeep driver, and our hike tour guide Wayan! Yongki helped make our transport to Mt Batur pleasant with a very smooth ride to and from our villa. Our jeep ride was also a very exciting experience. Wayan was our guide for the hike to the summit, and she was absolutely amazing! Please ask for her to be your guide :) She has been very friendly and definitely made the hike more enjoyable for us. She frequently checked to make sure we are safe, and also took many amazing photos for us along the way. We definitely encourage everyone to include the extra 30-minute hike to the summit, it’s worth it to see the volcano crater from the top!

Fantastische Erfahrung und unser Fahrer Dita war großartig und half uns, tolle Fotos zu machen. Der Jeep war groß und ermöglichte drei Personen hinten. Wir hatten keine Sicherheitsgurte, was bedeutete, dass man sich auf dem Weg nach oben festhalten musste, was nicht so toll war, aber es ist eine langsame Fahrt nach oben. Wir sahen auch die schwarze Lava und das war surreal. Würde es wieder tun. Es lohnt sich auch, danach zum Mittagessen ins AKASA zu gehen, um die Lava von oben zu sehen.

I highly recommend my Jeep driver, Bidit! He was super friendly and went above and beyond to help me capture stunning photos and drove like a pro. He made me feel comfortable and let me enjoy every moment of the experience while also filling me in about the history. I will definitely book again.

Yande was our driver for the Jeep. He was great and even took a bunch of pictures for us, which came out amazing!! Very professional looking pictures, and a great guide. His driving was good, and he was cautious as we went up the mountain, which I appreciate very much! The ride up is very bumpy, so loved that he wasn’t speeding up the mountain. 10/10 recommend! There isn’t a bathroom on the mountain, so make sure to use it before you start heading up. You’re up there for about 2 hours.

Nawe, nuestro conductor, era muy experimentado. Nos encantó el viaje por la montaña. La carretera era muy aventurera. Sin duda, recomendaremos a amigos y familiares que vengan a visitar y utilicen este servicio de nuevo. Tres personas por jeep. El punto de encuentro en la base de la montaña fue a las 4:45 y llegamos a tiempo para el amanecer (alrededor de las 6 a.m.). Después fuimos a la lava negra, un lugar muy fotogénico.

This was a fantastic experience!!! All the guides were fantastic. Our driver picked ustl up at the hotel which was very convient, he was very interesting with additional information about Bali and what the day would entail. Our jeep driver who took us over difficult terrain very easily and made it fun and safe. Then finally our trekking guide who got us to the top in time for a perfect sunrise. Thank you for the experience!

Meskipun kurang tidur, itu 100% sepadan. Secara keseluruhan, semuanya sempurna, cuaca bagus, sopir/pemandu/fotografer hebat, sarapan di puncak, dan pengalaman yang fantastis. Our tour was very fun and had a beautiful view of the sunset and the lake! Mana Putu & Jro Endrik were friendly and very helpful. They helped us take really good photos too. Would recommend this tour 😁

We booked the activity through Bali Pass, so we had to pay an additional 550,000 rupiah for a round trip from Canggu to the meeting point at Toya Bungkah. Our pickup was at 2:45 AM, and we reached the meeting point at 4:30 AM. The temperature in that area was about 18-20 degrees Celsius, and I recommend wearing long sleeves and long pants, as renting a blanket will cost an additional 50,000 rupiah. The jeep journey to Mount Batur was bumpy, and our jeep driver took many high-quality photos for us. He was friendly and accommodating. After the sunrise, we were supposed to go to either the black volcano or the riverside, but we requested to visit the hot spring, and they took us there. The hot spring opens at 7:00 AM and closes at 7:00 PM, but we arrived early, so we waited for about 10 minutes and stayed for 1.5 hours to soak. Finally, we were taken to the Segara Windhu Coffee Plantation. The visit was interesting, and we had a coffee/tea tasting before we shopped.
