Service: Kudos to Kadek (driver) and Endrik (guide). They have been a great company for this tour. They both speak good English and are very polite. We also learned a bit of their culture and traditions during our conversation with them 👍 The Hike: For the sunrise view. We woke up and start our travel around 2AM from Ubud. It takes more or less 1.5 travel time. We started our hike and reach the rest stop at around 4:30AM (too early for the sunrise), so we decided to pass the time at one of the made-up shed. The view at the top was great. Lot's of sea of clouds and you can see other Mts as well such as MtRinjani & MtAgung. The hike itself was just a short one and not that difficult. But be prepared as part of the trail is rocky and made of lose rocks. Be careful especially when going down. Overall, it was a great experience to do when in Bali.
It’s a great mountain climbing trip. It’s definitely worth it to get up at 2:00 in the morning. This trip is not to climb Mt batur, but a mountain between Mount Agung and Mount Batur. It’s more difficult than expected, especially When it was not dawn, it was a steep 50 minutes all the way, but the guide Mr.Arinata was very good and would help us! When we reached the top of the mountain, the guide prepared a rich breakfast, and the return trip by boat was also very interesting. Lake Batur was even more spectacular, and it was a very memorable journey!
It is strongly recommended that the title can be famous for not climbing Mount Batur to watch the sunrise to avoid misunderstanding! In addition, the last visit to the coffee farm can also be taken away, and 30 points can be deducted for the coffee trip with a full score of 100 points, just like the forced consumption of the tour bus that week. Overall it is very good. The driver of the shuttle bus is on time, and the guide is enthusiastic and careful. In addition to introducing the temples down the mountain to visit and explain the gods of Bali, it is also very good!
if you're up for an adventure and challenge, i highly recommend the overnight stay. it was very cold at night so bring warm clothing but the sunset ,night sky and sunrise was worth the camp! (do note that you have to be lucky in order to catch both sunset and sunrise).
The view was really nice. Beware though that this route seems to be different from the more popular route, as one is Mount Batur and this one is Mount Batur Caldera. The guide’s English could use some improvement though.
There's a separate pick-up knight and a guide to the Mount Batur. When you get off at the entrance to the Caldera, there's a guide to the top of Batur. There was a guide and I wiped it a little handkerchief on top of it and laid it down. It was so hard that I could swear when I got up and just 5 minutes to rest before sunrise. I was so happy that I could swear when I went up. Tim took a lot of pictures, but later we went It wasn't as bad as I thought, but it wasn't in the morning, so I didn't go in. I took a picture from above and got off when we wanted to. The furniture pick-up driver drove me to the top of Batthurst, where I took a photo, went to a coffee plantation, and returned to the hotel. I wasn't tired than I thought. Take your long-sleeve warmer weight that doesn't weigh a lot. When you start to climb the mountain, it's a luggage.-Normal sneakers can slip. Go without Why are you out of money when I go up I think I was the arrival experience to believe is not it ah deoraguyo to think that once. But twice a haguna olman'm not ㅎㅎ
Guide Ari Thank You! You can watch the sunrise in comfort, the guide and driver are friendly. I chose this because the Batur sunrise trekking was over, and I was very satisfied. Up to 90% of the fairly high hill is a steep road by car, and after walking for about 5 minutes, you will arrive at a spot with a 360-degree view of Caldera Lake, Mount Batur, and Lombok. We wait until the sun rises for about 2 hours, and it is a bit chilly at this time, so it is recommended to wear a windbreaker and long pants. Enjoy a cup of hot coffee or tea while watching the sunrise, and follow the jungle path down to the lake shore for about 40 minutes. The road can be a little dangerous, but the guide guided us kindly and we came down safely. The road is a bit slippery, so be sure to wear non-slip shoes. Long-sleeved long pants are essential as you may be cut weakly by branches or grass as you descend. When you arrive at the lake shore, take a small boat to the statue to take photos, then get in the car to eat breakfast and then return to the hotel. The driver and guide are all friendly, and I was very satisfied with the sunrise as it was much more comfortable than the Batur sunrise trek.
Pick up and drop off was on time. Our young guide Jill was great! He took great care of us making sure we have plenty of rest throughout the climb.. it takes abt 45 to 50mins to climb up the top.. but the view was worth it.. do wear shoes that have good grip as parts of the climb was quite steep..
If you have a trip to Bali, I will totally recommend this be a part of. I'm really thankful for my guide Endrik, she is so professional and patient. Always take care of my safe and introducing the Volcano, which makes this trip perfect.
Overall, the experience was seamless - driver, Yongki, fetching us at 2am to the start point and the guide who was really patient with us as we were absolute beginners for such trek. This trek has rather steep and slippery slopes with loose rocks, gravels and sand/Ash. Good sports/hiking shoes and walking sticks are recommended. Carry light but do bring a warm jacket for the top as it gets very cold.
