Experiência no Hell's Gate Geothermal Reserve & Mud Spa

Entrar no Parque Geotérmico Hell's Gate em Rotorua foi como entrar num mundo pré-histórico. Este lugar é uma visita absolutamente obrigatória! A visita guiada, que foi nada menos que excelente. Ver as fumarolas a fumegar, a lama a ferver e o poder bruto da paisagem de perto foi uma experiência verdadeiramente épica – a natureza no seu estado mais feroz e belo. Mas a verdadeira magia aconteceu depois, no spa de lama. Depois de explorar o parque termal ativo, mergulhar nos banhos de lama geotérmica e nos spas de enxofre foi puro paraíso. Foi soberbamente refrescante mergulhar nas águas quentes e ricas em nutrientes, enquanto se observava a paisagem nebulosa e única. O que mais gostei foi o quão inclusivo é. É realmente adequado para todas as faixas etárias; toda a minha família, desde os mais velhos aos mais pequenos, divertiu-se fantasticamente. É a mistura perfeita de educação, aventura e puro relaxamento. Se estiver em Rotorua, não perca Hell's Gate. É uma experiência para a alma!

My wife and I had a great experience with this tour. The mud pools and bush walk were amazing as you can see in the photos. The mud bath was relaxing after having a walk around the area. You will also be given a chance to experience Mauri wood carving. I highly recommend this trip in New Zealand.

The best experience ever. I chose the combo with a mud bath for around 20 minutes. I was accompanied by a Māori tour guide who explained everything very well and shared a lot of knowledge. The tour lasted about 1 hour and 30 minutes. The place is large with a jungle inside. Plus, they offer a free shuttle service from the hotel to the location.

We dachten dat het hoogtepunt het modderbad zou zijn (wat geweldig was), maar de gratis rondleiding bleek nog beter te zijn! Onze gids was zo vriendelijk en hielp ons meer te leren over de Māori-cultuur en het ongelooflijke vulkanische gebied. Wat een geweldige Kiwi-warmte en vriendelijkheid!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Hells Gate experience. Walked through the geothermals, had a mud bath and then soaked in the hot Springs. Highly recommend!

The Rotorua mud spa was a truly unique and relaxing experience. There were geothermal landscapes to admire, and a guide provided detailed explanations. Soaking in the hot springs while enjoying the natural atmosphere was very comfortable. The process for visiting the geothermal area and the mud pools was clearly arranged; you store your belongings first, so there's no rush or confusion. My skin really felt smoother after the soak. The staff were very friendly and patiently explained everything. Overall, it's worth a try.

The mud baths were enjoyable and a nice experience to have. There are 3 mud pools and then 2 sulfur pools to go after. The changing room facilities were basic and could be better. We also ended up doing a full tour of the space which complements the experience. Would recommend.

We booked The Hell's Gate Experience through Klook, which included the geothermal walk, Māori carving, and both the mud and sulphur spa pools — and it exceeded all expectations! The geothermal walk was fascinating — the landscape is unlike anything we’ve seen before, full of bubbling mud pools, steaming cliffs, and even a hot waterfall! The cultural element was a nice touch, especially the hands-on Māori carving session where we could take home a carved souvenir. It made the experience feel even more special and connected to the local heritage. The mud spa and sulphur pools were the highlight! So relaxing and therapeutic — we could literally feel the tension melting away. Our skin felt incredibly soft afterward. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and a locker was included, which made it super convenient to store our belongings without worry. Overall, it was a perfect mix of nature, culture, and wellness. Booking via Klook was smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommend this

What fun doing that mud spa. We took the entire tour package with a guide, including the sulfur and mud spa. Definitely worth it.

A really smelly, relaxing, hot and interesting experience. We got the experience ticket which included the mud bath and hot springs, the geothermal walk and a Maori carving experience. Fun for the whole family and it was even better that the weather was just perfect for our visit!
