Passeio pela Ilha de Tokashiki e Experiência de Observação de Baleias

We loved this experience! We were very lucky with the weather; the ocean was calm and pleasant. The island was beautiful, and we could swim freely or join extra activities such as snorkeling or the glass-bottom boat (these need to be selected on Klook in advance). We only chose the island option, and the two hours went by very quickly with lunch and time to explore the beach. The guide was extremely kind, and everything was well explained. Finding the whales wasn’t easy, but our captain and guide were patient, and we finally spotted them at the end! It was an amazing and unforgettable experience.

If you're coming to Naha, you absolutely have to do this tour. It's a must! The guide was so informative, and they even put in a little extra effort to watch the whale for a bit longer.

The staff are very attentive, they offer motion sickness medicine for 500 yen at the pickup point. The boat is comfortable and the experience is impressive.

I originally just wanted to see whales, but this tour offered an upgrade to Tokashiki Island for a small additional fee, which included lunch (though it was just a simple curry rice). Tokashiki Island is incredibly beautiful, with truly clear waters and fine sand on its beaches! I really enjoyed the two hours there! The only minor drawback of this tour was that there's no direct public transport to the meeting pier, so I had to walk over 20 minutes from my hotel. However, there were some sights along the way, such as Naminoue Shrine and Confucius Temple.

So happy, saw so many whales! The weather was also fantastic! We even went ashore on an island, and the crystal-clear waters there were much more beautiful than around the main island... Although I get seasick (or rather, the smell of diesel makes me feel a bit nauseous 🤮), it was totally worth it! The staff on the boat were very attentive to those feeling unwell, and after landing on the island, a tour guide drove us directly to the beach.

It was well-organized and orderly. You can buy motion sickness medicine at a drugstore; I bought Shiroi Usagi motion sickness pills, which come in packs of 4, 6, and 10. Take them half an hour in advance. If you want to photograph whales, I recommend sitting at the front and standing at the bow, otherwise, from the sides and stern, you'll mostly be photographing people's heads. We didn't see a large whale, only a small one, which was quite cute and surfaced several times. I imagine with so many people watching it, it must have been quite overwhelming for the little one.

The tour was enjoyable. However, the waiting area had many shops, and I didn't know which shop was mine. Even when I gave my name, I wasn't registered. I was told there was availability, despite having a reservation. I wish I had been given the shop name and contact information.

It was simply incredible! Seeing a whale is a great stroke of luck! We saw a whale and a baby whale several times))) that's double the luck!!! The captain was great, we changed course several times in pursuit of the whales and managed to see them multiple times))) thank you very much!!!
