Wonderful experience, it had been raining and was cloudy. We were provided with rain ponchos. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared about the area and environment. We saw birds and hermit crabs. Guide was great with answering our questions. Recommend this experience with this organization.
We were very satisfied with the experience 🥳 Thank you to our canoe guide, Mr. Musha, for patiently explaining how to paddle, introducing the mangrove ecosystem, trees, and the unique mudskippers and small crabs of the Bise River 🙇♀️ *A little tip: remember to wear quick-drying shorts when you come here, otherwise you'll get wet!* We booked the 11 AM activity on the day. After arriving early, the staff used English flashcards to remind us to bring towels and valuables (if you forget your towel, you can buy one for 400 yen). Then, he prepared slippers and paddles for us. We first learned how to paddle forward and in different directions together on the shore before getting into the canoe. We followed the guide throughout the entire journey to explore the Bise River mangrove ecosystem. If we encountered any difficulties along the way, the guide was happy to help and answer questions 😉✨ We'd love to come again 🧡🙋🏻♀️ and highly recommend it to other tourists.
I love the tranquil Haji River. The weather is a bit too hot in summer, but overall it's a good experience! Thanks to the instructor.
My first time kayaking. The guide was very friendly and his instructions were all easy to understand. He also pointed out local flora and and fauna, which I really appreciate. Very highly recommended!
This was a relaxing canoe trip where the guide led us through the mangroves and meticulously pointed out small creatures in the forest for us to see. It felt very worthwhile.
The view on the trip is excellent and the tour guide is nice.
The directions on where to go and how to park were great. I wish the staff spoke more English. The tour was slow on the water. We would have enjoyed being able to just kayak and actually move on the water, but the tour was a bit slow paced. This was a good tour that was worth doing once overall.
This was fun! Suitable as a family activity. Despite limited English communication, the briefing prior to the activity was clear. The gear and equipment were well-maintained. Most of the tour was conducted in Japanese, but the guide did explain some parts in English, which my mum and I appreciated. We were able to spot some mudskippers and mini crabs by the mangrove. The guide took some nice pictures of us (about 3 or 4 photos) and sent them via Instagram DM after the activity. If you’re driving, there is ample parking (free) on premises. Overall, this is an easy and relaxing activity I’d recommend trying if you can.
The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and fun, making it a highly satisfying tour! We kayaked up and down the Hija River, observing the mangroves and wildlife along the way. During the kayaking trip, the guide picked up a Mehirugi (a type of mangrove) that had drifted away after failing to root in the soil, and I'm now growing it at home. It has grown this much in four months with beach sand and tap water. I highly recommend this tour because even after returning home, I feel a connection to Okinawa every day, which makes me happy. We drove there, and the shop's location was easy to find, so we didn't get lost. Parking is available right in front of the shop. While tours to remote islands are often canceled due to wind, it was great that kayaking could be enjoyed even with relatively strong winds.
Yaito San was so nice, young man with tbe great spirit and very friendly.. kayak tells us many new things, we learn about the trees, the animals, the water and even the history. we're surely comeback again!!
