Experiência de caiaque e pesca em manguezais em Okinawa

My parents had such an amazing time today. Our guide was phenomenal. He explained everything and was there to guide us through the experience. We went on the kayak first, it wasn't too hot or too cold, very peaceful, and we got to learn more about the plants of Oki. After, we had a short break and went to the fishing spot. We were lucky enough to catch a fish and then they arranged with a local restaurant and it was phenomenal.

The course was 2 hours long (generously 3 hours including travel and preparation before boarding the boat). There were a total of 4 teams on the boat, and there was no restroom. We went out a bit by boat, stayed in one spot, and fished. There were no stores nearby, only vending machines. It would be good to bring your own ice water or drinks. My child got their hand caught in the fishing rod (just a slight pinch, no injury, but they're dramatic), and they brought an ice pack for them. It was our first time fishing on a boat, and it was so much fun. Perhaps because we had a child, the staff took good care of us and even put shrimp bait on the hooks for us. The fishing instructions are given in English. If there's a tip, it's that you have to keep releasing the line until it stops after putting on the bait and casting it into the sea. They take out the fish you catch for you and ask if you want to keep them or release them. We were lucky, and our family caught a total of 10 fish. The children each caught 3 fish, and it was so enjoyable that we didn't even realize an hour and a half had passed. However, the team right next to us, three people, only caught 1 fish. I also saw someone catch two at once. The variety of fish species seemed to make the children even happier (this time, they were saying things like 'red fish,' 'striped fish,' 'fish with teeth,' etc.). We released all the fish we caught, but it seems that if you catch large ones, you can pay an additional fee at the end to have them cooked. We had fun because we kept catching fish one after another, but some people on other teams seemed bored or seasick and were sleeping. When I sat still for a moment to rest because of the heat, I did feel a bit nauseous (it was fine once I started moving again). There was some shade, but it was direct sunlight and on a boat, so it was very hot. Perhaps because of that, my head hurt a bit after fishing (both my husband and I). I even saw someone collapse on another boat 🥲. Anyway, it was an enjoyable experience, and I think it would be good to try with children. The children said it was the most memorable part of the trip. Oh, and we even saw sharks on the way back after fishing!!!! Two black shark fins visible on the surface 🦈🦈

It was my first time kayaking and I had so much fun. The guide explained it very well. He also told some facts about the Mangroves. Sadly I got seasick during the fishing.

It was my first time experiencing kayaking and sea fishing. The guide explained everything in great detail and even provided free shorts and slippers when I forgot to bring a change of clothes. The service was excellent, and they helped take photos. The weather was lovely that day, making it a perfect spot for beginners to try kayaking. We spent a relaxing afternoon, and the activity was much easier than I expected. Fishing in the afternoon was a lot of fun; I caught some fish with the captain's guidance. Afterwards, we had them cooked, and they were delicious and satisfying.

The fishing trip was very nice but a little bit short we just fish small reef fishes. The crew was great and very kind with us, they took nice pictures of us! The boat was clean and safe, everybody onboard was using life jacket including the crew. I recommend to those who want to have a little fishing Expirience.

The guides were able to communicate in simple English, making the experience very hassle-free! It was a great family outing!

It was a wonderful experience, I highly recommend it even to those who have never done it before, like us.

The tour guides were all very friendly and tried their best to explain things, even though they weren't very proficient in English or Chinese. The canoe can accommodate up to two adults and one child; for three adults and two children, two canoes would be sufficient. The fishing experience afterward was fantastic; both adults and children caught something after the staff's guidance. In the end, we caught 6 fish, which we could take to the restaurant to enjoy.

The guides are very nice and the activities are interesting. Highly recommended!
