I really liked the itinerary; we happened to see the sunset 🌇, which was beautiful. The coach helped take photos, but they weren't professional, so the pictures were just average. Because our schedule was a bit delayed, we told them we might arrive a little late, but we were sternly informed that if we were late, we wouldn't be able to participate at all and wouldn't get a refund, and that we absolutely had to arrive before 4:00 PM. So, we rushed to get there on time, only to still wait for almost half an hour at the site before departing. We also saw other groups who were late still being able to participate, which left a bad impression. You can bring your phone or camera to take pictures while playing. Your pants and underwear are highly likely to get wet, so it's recommended to bring an extra pair. They provide slippers for us to change into, which is nice. You might want to bring an extra towel to dry your feet, as it's more convenient when changing shoes after getting ashore. Overall, I recommend coming to Okinawa and definitely trying this activity.

Excellent experience for our entire family (4 adults and 2 kids aged 8 and 6)! Changing facilities were clean and tidy, and life jackets were quite new/well maintained. A few minutes of easy and clear instructions and off we went into the Bise River! After a short period of practice, we first visited the mangroves, before rowing towards the bright orange sun! There were some rock formations slightly offshore in the open sea, where we rowed around and even spotted some small fish in sharp-blue color! And there we watched the beautiful sun disappearing into the western horizon with huge satisfaction. Our guide helped us with a few photos which he promptly shared with us through email (other means like Line possible), but we actually brought our phones (in waterproof cases) with us so were able to take some great pictures along the way.

This tour was amazing, way above my expectations. First we had a ride around the mangrove trees and the instructor told us about them. Then we went out to the ocean to see the sunset which was beautiful. Totally recommend this tour!

I chose the tour on January 30th at 4:30 PM and went. If you're a traveler without a car staying in Naha city, it's a bit difficult to get around by bus. I was worried because I was the only solo traveler, but a staff member rode with me and even took photos with their camera and sent them to me. I also received a mangrove seed as a gift! The staff was very kind. The cloudy sky cleared up at just the right time, so I got to see a beautiful sunset. It was my first time kayaking, but it wasn't difficult at all! I highly recommend it if you want to try kayaking in Okinawa~

I went on a kayak sunset tour with a friend, and it was a truly fun and great experience. Although we couldn't see a proper sunset due to the many clouds, just being able to kayak and enjoy the scenery was a valuable experience in itself. Neither of us knows any Japanese beyond "thank you," but they explained everything in English, so you don't need to worry. The instructor who led us was also very funny and cheerful. If you come to Okinawa and want to enjoy an activity, I highly recommend the sunset tour.

The path from the Hija River to the sea is absolutely stunning. Although we couldn't fully enjoy the sunset due to the cloudy weather, the overcast skies made kayaking even cooler and more enjoyable. Even a 6-year-old child could do it easily. Most of all, the instructor was incredibly kind, which was a huge plus. It was a challenging two-hour journey of hard paddling, but it was fun. I'm proud that we were able to create wonderful memories for the children. I highly recommend it!

This is a highly recommended activity. For beginners, we suggest joining the 3-hour Kayak class as it's not too far. If you opt for the sunset tour, please be aware that the route is longer, so assess your stamina accordingly. You might miss the public bus after the latter. If you're staying near American Village, asking the staff at the center to call a taxi for you is quite affordable. If you're heading straight to a restaurant afterward, it's best to shower at another center nearby: ¥200 for 15 minutes. It's recommended to take a taxi back to your hotel, shower, and then go out for dinner.

Highly recommend for all ages! We got a little wet but it was great fun. Crocs are provided but remember to bring your own towels.
