The tour was at a comfortable pace. Our tour guide, Leo, shared interesting facts and history about each place, gave tips for taking night scenery shots without crowds, and even provided water due to the long bus ride. Overall, it was a great itinerary to see the highlights of Hakodate and the southwestern part of Hokkaido.
This two-day trip was very satisfying! Our guide, Leo, was professional and had a humorous and witty way of speaking! He also managed time exceptionally well, arranging each attraction perfectly so everyone could enjoy themselves without feeling rushed. What touched me most was his thoughtfulness and sense of responsibility. He kept an eye on the weather before we set off and specifically reminded everyone to bring an umbrella before heading to Motomachi Park. As it turned out, a heavy downpour really did start later. I happened not to have an umbrella, and Leo kindly lent me his, for which I am truly grateful 😊 Throughout the entire journey, whether it was the route planning, time management, or looking after the tourists, I could feel Leo's dedication and care. He is not only professional and reliable but also always anticipates various situations, ensuring everyone has a safe and enjoyable time. These two days were both relaxing and fulfilling, full of fun, and left me with wonderful memories. Many thanks to Leo for his care and help throughout the trip. The experience of this journey far exceeded my expectations and also gave me a deeper understanding of this land. If I have the opportunity to join a similar trip in the future, I will definitely choose him again and recommend him to my friends.
Our tour guide Leo was truly attentive, responsible, and polite. The schedule was very well organized. I especially want to mention that one time we couldn't get a Lucky Pierrot burger at the main store, and without hesitation, he called other branches to ensure we got to try Hakodate's specialty food. The burger was really delicious, and we are very grateful to Leo 😆. We hope to have him guide us around Hakodate again next time. This tour is highly recommended for those without a car to explore all of Hokkaido!!!
Tour guide Xiao Cai was very diligent, and the English commentary was detailed; Sister Jiang drove very smoothly and her skills were excellent!
Thank you to tour guide Xiao Cai for the detailed explanations, and to driver Ms. Jiang for the safe driving, making this two-day trip in Hakodate a success.
Leo is an excellent tour guide; his explanations are clear and concise.
Thank you, Leo, for explaining Hokkaido's history throughout the trip. You provided explanations for every attraction, making this a highly cost-effective tour. When it started raining, Leo quickly asked the driver to adjust the air conditioning to warm after we got back in the car, preventing anyone from getting cold. That was very thoughtful. I highly recommend this to friends who cannot drive themselves.
This tour offers an effective way to visit Hakodate, with the benefit of passing through several popular locations south of Sapporo, while travelling to Hakodate. Which is difficult to do so if you rely on public transport. Spending a night in Hakodate also provides an opportunity to visit the most iconic spots of the city. Unfortunately we were not able to visit Mount Hakodate for the famous night view due to heavy fog. The guide did attempt to adjust the itenary and visit on the next day instead, though the weather remained poor. But we appreciate the effort. The minibus used was spacious enough for guests and the luggages as there weren't many of us. And, you may want to reserve more time for the morning market as it gets really crowded at certain seasons.
Tour guide Zhou's flexibility and thoughtful arrangements made our 5+ hour journey pass quickly. During the trip, visits to Lake Toya and Hell Valley were arranged, saving us time. He also helped us find a delicious seafood restaurant, which was excellent.
Tour guide Leo's explanations were vivid and clear, with rich historical information that was captivating. He took great care of the tourists, and I hope to have the opportunity to join his tour again in the future.
