Trekking Privado na Selva do Monte Abang

Agus Putra, mein Fahrer, war ausgezeichnet. Pünktlich und die Kommunikation war großartig. Wunderbare Wanderung mit dem Guide Michael, der ebenfalls großartig war. Die Wanderung ist anstrengend! Gute Schuhe sind erforderlich. Alles in allem hätte ich mir nicht mehr wünschen können. Empfehlenswert

The organization is impeccable: from the hotel departure to the mountain trek and back to the hotel. Everything is arranged so you don't have to worry about anything, except fully enjoying the mountain experience. I was picked up by a lovely driver, Edi, and then led to the summit by a courageous guide, Toni. The trails are not easy: sandy, slippery, and very steep in places. I highly recommend using walking poles! (The organization can lend you some.) We set off in the middle of the night to enjoy the sunrise at the summit. Along the way, there are various checkpoints guarded by divine statues: an opportunity for my guide to meditate and pray for our safety. It took us about 3 short hours to reach the top. On our way, we encountered a Luwak! Finally, we enjoyed breakfast and a hot drink while admiring the sunrise and a breathtaking view of Mount Batur and the lake. On the way back, I discovered the dense and lush forest around us, which is very beautiful. Thank you for this wonderful adventure!

After booking on Klook, I hadn't heard from the company for a few hours, so I reached out first on WhatsApp. They eventually replied, and Rues, our driver, contacted me to arrange the pickup. He was friendly and arrived on time to take us to the trekking point. We had a great time trekking up the mountain. It's higher than Mount Batur, and I think the elevation gain is similar because it's quite steep going up, plus it's slippery in parts. I wouldn't say it was a difficult hike because we completed it quite quickly, both going up and down, in about 2 hours according to the guide and driver. In the end, we were lucky because there was no rain, even though it was quite windy at the top, so there were no clouds nearby. The sunrise was beautiful, and the view of Mount Batur was also very pretty. Jero MangKu, our guide, was friendly and patient, and he guided us up and back safely. I would advise bringing a good jacket, mainly to wear at the top, because it was cold. Even though I wore three layers, they weren't proper jackets, and the sweat from the hike made it even colder since I was wet. I definitely recommend this tour if you want to do a hike with fewer people, as there were only 6 of us plus two guides this morning before a few more people came up later after the sunrise. When I did Batur, there were so many people both on the hike and at the summit.

Wonderful experience! Knowledgeable guide (Yanshu) very nice and friendly, helped my gf all the way up and down. Told us lots about Indonesian culture. The hike is pretty challenging to someone who doesn't hike regularly. It requires a little climbing here and there. Challenging but manageable Took us about 3 hrs to hike from base to top. There are 2 stops in between (where temples in mountain are). Started around 3am. Snacks, coffee headlights and hiking poles are provided. Very quite hike. We were literally the only group doing sunrise trekking there. When you finally reached the top, the view is absolutely stunning. If you are very lucky and visibility is perfect, you can see mountains from other places like East Java and the one on Gili island. Overall this was one of the best hiking experiences we ever had. 10/10 would recommend.

Pemandangan dari puncak Gunung Abang benar-benar menakjubkan, memukau, dan mistis! Kami membutuhkan waktu 3 jam untuk mendaki dan 3 jam untuk turun, tetapi itu sangat sepadan. Akan lebih baik untuk berlatih dan memiliki fisik yang bugar sebelum mencoba pendakian ini karena tidak ada jalan setapak atau jalur, tetapi pada dasarnya hanya berjalan melalui medan. Sepatu hiking yang bagus, tongkat trekking, dan senter sangat dibutuhkan. Meskipun disediakan, tetapi yang terbaik adalah membawa sendiri juga! Pemandu kami, Wayan, sangat berpengetahuan, memotivasi, dan sangat menjaga kami untuk memastikan keselamatan kami. Dia juga sangat pandai mengambil foto dan video terbaik selama pendakian - sangat direkomendasikan 10/10!!

Amazing tour! Driver arrived on time. Road to office is a bit windy so bring motion sickness tablets. Very cold even at the office so bring appropriate clothing! We wore thermals, fleece, fleece, jacket, gloves and a hat. They had headlamps provided but we brought our own anyways. They also kindly provided a breakfast pack and coffee. Hike took 3 hours going up at a leisurely pace and still made it in time for sunrise. We were THE ONLY ONES and it was truly mesmerising - a definite hidden gem! Can even see Mt Rinjana on Lombok! We added on the jungle swing where you can also explore the paddyfields around the area. Very picturesque place and they have photo op designs around but you must pay extra for it.

A challenging but rewarding hiking experience. My hiking guide Wayan is amazing, at the age of 51, he was able to navigate the tricky terrains while supporting me especially going down hill on slippery muddy tracks. We were lucky to still be able to see the sunrise despite being a foggy day. Highly recommend it if you’re up for abit of challenge and want to avoid touristy Mt Batur.

We were picked up right on time, and the guide for the tour was very knowledgeable and patient with us. The hike does require a fair bit of fitness but the view at the end was very worth it, as a less crowded and more beautiful version (in my opinion) compared to more popular hiking spots such as Mt Batur. Afterwards the visit to the coffee plantation was a nice surprise, with good chocolates and coffee/teas (they also provided free tasters!) you can bring back as souvenirs.

Seluruh perjalanan berjalan lancar, dan pemandangannya benar-benar menakjubkan. Sopir kami, Agus, sangat ramah dan tepat waktu. Dia menghubungi kami sehari sebelumnya untuk mengkonfirmasi detail, dan bahkan tiba sedikit lebih awal dari jadwal (pukul 1 pagi). Ketika kami melewatkan pesan awalnya karena ketiduran, dia dengan ramah menelepon dan bersedia menunggu, yang sangat kami hargai. Pemandu kami, Wayan, sangat luar biasa. Dia memastikan keselamatan kami sepanjang pendakian sambil juga menciptakan suasana yang hangat dan ramah. Dia dengan sigap membawa tikar untuk kami duduk, menyiapkan mi instan halal untuk sarapan, dan menyajikan kopi rumahan yang lezat. Selain itu, Wayan adalah seorang fotografer yang hebat, mengabadikan momen-momen matahari terbit yang menakjubkan. Saya sangat merekomendasikan perjalanan ini kepada siapa pun yang mencari pengalaman mendaki yang terorganisir dengan baik dan tak terlupakan.
