Excursão de meio dia a Doi Suthep e à Vila Hmong

The half-day tour is good, not too long and not tiring. Our guide, Mee, is great, professional, and speaks both English and Mandarin very well. We were picked up at our hotel and she was flexible in dropping us off at a location along the way. The last stop was a temple high up in a mountain; climbing the 300 stairs was good exercise and offered a fantastic view of Chiang Mai city.

I have one more stop. We will visit two temples and a village. Wat Phalet is a 700-year-old temple, and its pagoda appears very ancient. In Hill Tribes Village, I saw many aboriginal people dressed in traditional attire. I also gave a young girl my Marathon Medal as a gift.

The tour itself was good - clean car, tour guide was good and safe and even provided umbrellas. The village was quite boring in my opinion, you are herded through a marketplace (walking up a mountain!!!) and end at a museum you need to pay to enter, then you’re left to your own devices. People with mobility issues would struggle with this tour given the village portion which was not an easy walk up a mountain!

Amazing Doi Suthep tour! The views from Wat Phra That Doi Suthep were absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere was peaceful and inspiring. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared great insights about the history and local culture. Everything was well organized, comfortable, and on time. A perfect half-day trip in Chiang Mai—highly recommended!

Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, also known as Doi Suthep Temple, is located on Doi Suthep mountain. It is called the Twin Dragon Temple because of its 300-step staircase adorned with two dragons. Our half-day tour guide, Yo Yo, arrived at the hotel on time, was sincere, humorous, and explained everything diligently, making our temple visit very rewarding. The time management was perfect, not affecting our lunch or subsequent plans, making it a successful trip.
