Passeio de Trekking de Meio Dia e Dia Inteiro em Doi Suthep em Chiang Mai

Bien organizado y mucho mejor de lo que esperaba. El primer templo antiguo al que se va antes de subir a la montaña ya valía la pena el viaje, ¡pero la atracción principal fue uno de los mejores templos que he visto!

Trip was amazing. The guide Tom was very knowledgeable, attentive and well spoken. We were greeted by the amazing views in and around the temples of Chiang Mai.

The feeling of a night tour is truly wonderful! The first stop was the Cave Temple, where the English-speaking guide diligently explained its history, pointed out the best photo spots and must-see areas, and answered all our questions 👍. The second stop was Wat Phra That Doi Suthep (Doi Suthep Temple). The weather at night was a bit chilly, so remember to bring a jacket. The temple is built on a mountain, and there are two ways to get up: (1) walk up 306 steps, or (2) take the cable car at your own expense. From the top, you can see the entire night view of Chiang Mai, and even the square-shaped Old City is clearly visible. The magnificent, golden temple is truly moving. The guide also mentioned that walking around the pagoda three times clockwise is the local way of praying for blessings!

The tour guide was very professional, introducing a lot of knowledge and history about Thai Buddhism.

We happened to be the only two people on this tour. The guide was helpful in explaining the various history of the temple and was also knowledgeable about the various insects and plants along our walk. The guide was also helpful in helping us take pictures, giving us a lovely memory of our trip.

If you are traveling alone, we highly recommend taking a tour 🙇‍♂️. This is because the round-trip Grab taxi fare from the Old Town to Doi Suthep alone is comparable to the tour price (if you are in a group, compare the prices). This tour travels in a comfortable, spacious, air-conditioned van. The guide was friendly and shared a lot of information. Most importantly, the guide had excellent photography skills 📸. The service of taking great photos at good spots with wonderful compositions was very satisfying 🫡. Thank you. Have a pleasant trip!

Following my mother's words, "Don't say you've been to Chiang Mai if you haven't visited Doi Suthep," I decided to take a tour. It was a joint tour with several other people, and we were the only Koreans! I was satisfied because we traveled in a large vehicle, so there was no inconvenience of having to call a songthaew. Also, the pick-up and drop-off service was great; if your accommodation was within the Old Town, they would pick you up and drop you off right at your hotel. Originally, the meeting point is said to be at Tha Phae Gate, so it's good to keep that in mind :) On the way to Doi Suthep, there's Wat Umong Temple, so we visited the tunnel temple first before moving on. Doi Suthep is quite high up and far away, so going by tour will be the most comfortable option. And while it's beautiful during the day, you absolutely must do a night tour here. It was so dazzling and beautiful when the lights came on... I loved being able to see the night view. If you need to prepare anything, it would be good to bring cool bottled water. It takes about 10 minutes to climb the stairs shown in the picture, but you can also go up by taking the cable car next to it (separate cost). However, if you're going up anyway, I recommend using the stairs.

On-time hotel pick-up and drop-off. Our group consisted of four people. The trip went smoothly, and the guide had prepared offerings for the monks and took photos for us throughout the process. He also had extensive knowledge of nature, introducing different plants and animals along the way.

Pickup was on time and the whole tour was enjoyable. Since the tour was in the evening, there were only a handful of people and we practically had the place to ourselves. The weather was also cooler and a bit windy which was pleasant. First, we went to the Hmong cave temple which was interesting. I personally like the Doi Suthep temple, which we had to climb over 300 steps to get to. It was so calm and peaceful up there, moreover with the cool temperature. The view from the viewing point was amazing. Plus we got the chance to see the monks starting to chant. All in all, it was a nice experience
