Because it rained for the entire 3-hour hike that day, the trail conditions required extra attention. However, for sections requiring hands and feet, I believe children over 10 years old could also hike if the weather were better. Along the way, the guide will monitor the trail conditions and clear obstacles in advance. The scenery is beautiful. If you want to spend half a day experiencing Chiang Mai's nature, this is highly recommended. We left the city around 9:30 AM and returned around 3:30 PM. During this time, we first visited Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, then began the 3-hour hike, and finally ended at a cozy cafe with coffee and food. After an hour of rest, we drove back. It is recommended to bring mosquito repellent, a change of clothes, sufficient water, and a raincoat.

This was an amazing experience, it's so overlooked. I was the only one on the tour and I thought it wasn't gonna be that exciting, I was so wrong. My guide Tui is the best, it's like having a friend on a private tour. He made sure that I was good and keep up with my pace. If there is one thing that need to be on the list while visiting Chiang Mai, it's this. It's workout going up those steps but relaxing and peaceful at the same time. Ask for Tui as your guide.

The Doi Suthep hiking tour with guide Ekachai was a truly fantastic activity. When the pickup vehicle arrived at my accommodation, I was a little worried because I was the only participant, but instead, he carefully looked after me, matching my pace, and we safely ascended the mountain. It was a healing time, listening to the sound of lush trees, fresh air, and cool stream water. And I was very grateful to the driver, Don, who skillfully drove the winding mountain roads, waited for us with a bright smile, and took us to the next location. This is an excellent tour that I highly recommend to anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

First, this is a one-day tour starting at 8 AM and ending at 3 PM! The driver and guide were all very kind and conducted the tour flexibly. Personally, my father wanted to go hiking, so I made a request, and they operated a customized course for us that only locals would know! My father's satisfaction was particularly high, which made me very happy too! The program was perfect for spending a day. However, the weather was so hot that it was physically demanding, but I was very grateful that they provided water in between and gave us as much rest time as we wanted! If you don't know where or how to go, I highly, highly recommend this tour!!
